A correction about the Urdu number I used - I made a mistake in how I expressed 54,870,964. It's correctly said as (Paanch Crore, Chawan Lakh, Sattar Hazaar, Nau Sau Chonsath). I’m not always the best with Urdu numbers, and even after looking it up, I made a mistake. so ig math in any language isn't my strong suit! Also This video focuses on the 90% of Pakistani educational institutions struggling with outdated systems, lack of resources, and minimal career guidance-not the 10% privileged schools that already offer advanced opportunities. Thanks for understanding!

On the other hand fbise also did injustice with us whereas for punjab board students marks are given in a plate. Tbh really fed-up from Pakistani education system. The only plus point I have is that my parents are not pressurising me to pursue only medical. But Pakistani education system demands change.

Now three years later I'm about to complete CA inter but when I look back I don't think I was happy for even a single moment in these last three years, its completely drained me and left me empty. Even though I was good at it academically that's all there's to it, I'm mentally and emotionally drained and feel like I have no life whatsoever. I can't imagine working in this field in the future. I want to take admission in NCA as I'm 22 only and I told this to my mother but she didn't approve. She wants me to continue CA (it'll take 4 more years to complete the training period) and I don't have it in me at all.

Teachers are not working to teach students.. they're just working that they had no other career option. Speaking of myself, i like to teach students and i enjoy it but the system is getting in my way like you have to complete the syllabus as soon as possible or srf bs likhwae jao or nbaache copy krte jaen.. conceptual learning k lie time hi nh h.. and u feel sorry for my students but I've also promised myself that i will push myself and focus on their conceptual learning.

One more point: We often judge a student's or even our own child's ability solely based on their grades. A student with an A+ is considered admirable, while a C-grade student is seen as inadequate. The obsession with fields like medicine, IT, and engineering is often attributed to factors such as an outdated education system or colonial history, but this perspective overlooks the deeper societal dynamics at play. Having studied sociology and anthropology, I’ve concluded that in collectivist societies (predominantly in the East), students have little to no freedom in career choice. In contrast, in individualist societies (common in the West), individuals steer their own lives and enjoy almost absolute freedom in choosing their careers. This difference stems from the core functioning of these societies. In collectivist cultures, an individual is not viewed as a "separate autonomous entity" but as a point within a larger web of relationships, such as the extended family. Consequently, career choices are often made not by the individual alone but by the family as a collective. Financial strain further exacerbates this dynamic. Conversely, in individualist societies, individuals are seen as "separate autonomous entities" who can independently determine the course of their careers.

Such an insightful video! It beautifully captures the challenges faced by students in Pakistan's education system, especially the overwhelming pressure to pursue careers in medicine and IT. I wonder how we can encourage schools to provide a wider array of career options and support for students' diverse interests. Additionally, what steps can be taken to improve the quality of teaching and critical thinking skills among students? It's crucial that we foster an environment where every student feels empowered to explore their unique talents and aspirations. Let's continue this important conversation!

Bro, as a student who is studying computer science right now, I will recommend you to leave it. Or focus on areas like digital art etc. The computer field is a competitive field and even if you get admission in university, jobs will give u hell. Just do what u like, but be wise about your future.

10:52 aik martaba ghar waloon se iss ke bary mein baat ki thi aur onhoon ne kaha "hamein mat sikhao" aur agar teachers ko kisi concept ke bary mein apni wording mein likh deta tha too zero marks milte, even if i wrote all the crucial details

Same. This is why I got 80% in fsc because I didn't cram word to word and did conceptual study instead.

Lekin young teachers ka ye faidah bhi hai ke bachey unn teachers se zyada connection feel karte hain. Jo PhD wale teachers hain wo shayad bachey ke mind ko iss tarhan na read kar sakein jis tarhan aik young teacher karta hai aur unn sab cheezon ko le kar tareeqa banata hai taakey bachon ko ache se samaj aye
