As far as i remembered that none of our history books in India create hatred against any religion. We were taught in school about the partition as bad part of our history because of the massive massacre. I am from India and I remember a true story in our school syllabus based on the backdrop of India-Pakistan partition. This story explains how a Pakistani Muslim neighbour helped the Hindu author's family while they were boarding the last train to India from Lahore. I can still remind most parts of that story and it had tremendous impact on students of my times.
