Good summation. And some things I didn't know. I can't pick which class to do first 😅 thinking warrior titan

@g_od2080 I'm also leaning towards the Warrior. Thinking of going heavy build with a shield and 2handed weapon. But I'm also interested in the sorceress

I love how they made the presentation tailored toward new players as well. Absolutely everything got explained from the simplest to the most complex mechanics in the game. If you are a newbie, go watch the last PoE2 stream thing and you'll know everything.

I don't know why I feel compelled to watch these videos. I'm already convinced to play POE2. I'm not a new player. And I've already seen a bunch of other videos of why POE2 is great dor new players, but I have to support the KZbin algorithm to show these videos to more viewers.

I know exactly what you mean!! I feel like my daily life right now is just constantly revolving around December 6th to play POE2. Watching POE content daily 😭

Great vid bro. I tried and quit poe1. I feel like i can finally believe the hype. Cheers

Thank you! POE1 was too much for me. I didn't enjoy that I couldn't play the game without the help of 3rd party tools such as the path of building program. I have high hopes for the sequel to change all that!

Lol...absolutely not true. There are many great things about this game, but it is NOT accessible for new players. It is very much for a hardcore grinder who is willing to make PoE their full-time job, and then some. Their are massive spikes in difficulty level, endgame is extremely tedious, good currency is very much gated behind rarity (it's one of their fundamental design principles), making you very reliant on 3rd parties (assuming, again, you don't want to make it a full-time job), trade isn't integrated into the game, death penalty is very punishing and non-optional, 1 shot potential is very high at points (often to things out of your control), there is no real crafting (it's just slamming items with currency you don't have while praying to the rng gods you get something good)...yeah, not accessible, at least past main campaign. Also, they are very afraid of making bold changes and offending the core grinders who want to put in 1000+ hours. All of these things could be solved with just putting in difficulty tiers, but there is no indication GGG will do that. Maybe it's a budget thing, but don't hold your breath. Again, there are good things, including some of the stuff he mentioned, but the stuff gating it makes it unplayable past the main campaign for the average gamer. For who it is designed for, it serves that niche well, but I find it hard to believe someone would find this accessible.

You are right in your points, the game does feel very "hardcore" compared to other ARPG's but saying it's a full-time job is a little overboard. GGG has shown a willingness to improve accessibility. They’ve streamlined systems like passive skill tree, loot to reduce clutter and crafting materials with many more. While PoE 2 may not introduce difficulty tiers, it aims to improve campaign flow and system clarity. Though slow, GGG’s improvements are meaningful, and PoE 2 could address some current pain points. It's still an early access after all. Path of Exile 2 is undeniably a niche game, but its what set it apart. it excels at delivering a unique, deep experience and are miles away more accessible than its predecessor. That is why I still believe it's a perfect game for players to test the ARPG genre
