Why People Are Moving to SUMMERVILLE SC - Things are Changing!

We moved to that area in early 2017 and moved out only 5 years later in 2022. While some of the points you made are accurate, it has become so overcrowded the traffic and everything else is out of control. Cane Bay and the other neighborhoods are incredibly large and the infrastructure, schools, etc. can't keep up. It takes 2-3 times as long as it should to get anywhere due to traffic, and the schools are so overcrowded they have kids going to schools out of their immediate area or having classes in trailers. If you are considering moving from out of the area I highly recommend you research EVERYTHING first and spend at least a week there to explore and see everything for yourself first.

I completely agree. It's why I think everyone needs to visit the area first. I also mention a lot of these cons in another videos I have. Reasons NOT to move here. People need to know the facts.

Yes, too many people live here now. Traffic is terrible homes cost 500k in the tri county area. I get real estate agents want to sell homes. But it’s too crowded and no infrastructure. People please stop moving here.

As a point of reference, where did you live prior to Sommerville and where to you live now? Heavy traffic and crowdedness to some may not be the case for other depending on your point of reference.
