I agree with changing out the 1 inch wire rope for 3/4 inch. The breaking strength of 3/4 is about 47000 to 58000 pounds, so it will still have plenty of safety margin. It will also be much easier to drag down a slope. This was a great video to show the capability of the equipment.

I live in Michigan, bought some property (3.7 acres) in Baldwin, MI, when my mother passed away from Covid-19 in 2021. Don't have a driver's license. Heavy, I love to do a recovery with you! It is what I used to do! Being home-bound disabled, I lost my life! I am so lost, my life is not what it used to be. Even though this recovery is on land, what I used to do was in water... same concept. And many of my recoveries were of bodies in water, it still similar and closure for families.

Big respect for you guys, including the big green vehicle(My favorite out of the ones other then the new semi truck). These videos keep my respect amongst workers, blue color work etc. without them, we wouldn't be able to do have the things that we have right now. Big piece of mind when I will be out on the trails off roading that there would be a recovery somewhere so that i don't have to do it my self, with professionals they know what they are doing thanks for showing everything in the videos and explaining of what they do.

I've never heard of "dead mans curve" before but this looks like the Skyline Drive road in Farmington. It's a beautiful drive. Definitely recommend going up if you're ever visiting the Salt Lake area.

I might sound like a tree hugger, but i really feel bad for all the trees that get taken out. I think the insurance companies should also charge the people who leave their vehicles out there like that should be charged a couple thousand dollars to replace and replant new ones. Man Allen is one hard worker, going up and down multiple times. So glad you guys care as much as you guys do about cleaning these out.

I have an idea for you guys to build. A floating barge with skis. You guys do a lot of rescues in the snow, water, and mud. It would help with equipment they is locked up to tow it back behind a one of your trucks or boats.

Synthetic tow rope is way to go light weight and 2 times stronger then winch line. I’ve worked with it on couple tow truck recoveries and loved it!

The reason I was wondering if you were parting out is because that truck is the same body style as my truck and I need to original bumper which that one has if it’s in good condition. I wouldn’t mind the Z71 skid plate off of it.
