I always thought she had a good heart and didn’t say anything bad about him. I don’t like what he said - like an arranged marriage - I feel hurt by his words on her behalf, and I don’t even know her, but people my age grew up watching 90210.

Wow, Peter Facinelli is a prime example of a man that didn't really mature until his late 40s and didn't have enough backbone to let Jennie know he wasn't ready to get married. He's the one that filed for divorce in 2012, but he met Jaimie Alexander in 2011 while filming a movie which was released in Nov. 2011. That relationship didn't last either. Jennie was / is too good for him. He's a loser

There is a point that children want to and need to know what happened. As a child of divorce you usually find out one way or another. Creating an open dialogue about it is much better than alternatives.

He broke her heart is all I remember, and I never forgotten it. I was done kind of the same way. He got a little power and a little Hollywood and she wasn’t good enough anymore and he destroyed his entire family for his freedom. You know not anyone marriage is perfect and he had a pretty damn new one. I just hope that he realizes it one day but I guess he doesn’t. She is able to forgive him now, but it wasn’t like that in the beginning from the interviews, I remember seeing her in. She was just very, very hurt, and she was so careful introducing another man and her children’s lives. She’s just such a great person and a great wife and a great mother. When I saw him in twilight, he was the a rerun was almost nauseated with his presence on the film. I’m sorry I’m not a fan of his, but I am a fan of hers.she has finally moved on and I hope she has a very long second marriage and I hope he doesn’t have that. Some vengeful I call it karma and this is from an old lady that has watched the tour with him for many years.

You're right. On the podcast she mentioned that he asked for divorce while he was working on a movie (he probably cheated). She's still hurt and was blindsided.

When they got divorced I remember seeing how sad Jennie was and you can tell was still in love with him and was more in love with him and he was with her. Now in this podcast you really see that this was/is true. Peter comes off as a spineless pos who sucked Jennie in and used her and hurt her. You can even tell in Jennie's voice and descriptions today that she crushed by him and even still has a love for him for no reason.

I think you are right. I heard an interview with Tiffani Amber Thiessen where she said Peter wasn't even with Jenni during the birth of one of their daughters. She was the one helping Jenni and she couldn't understand why he wasn't there.

Wth is he talking about, "arranged marriage"?? He has no clue what those even are. He's using the wrong term. Sounds like he means "platonic" marriage. He's not eloquent enough to express that he just wasn't in love with her, and/or that they were simply not compatible. He's always seemed pretty dooshy to me, and this didn't change my opinion of him... Sad that he was so immature or cowardly that he couldn't have chosen to either NOT marry someone he wasn't genuinely committed to, or at the very least, divorced her BEFORE creating children with her. It seems evident to me that SHE thought they were in a real marriage. She was committed and he didn't honor those vows, it seems. I feel bad for her but she seems much happier and better off without him, although it's clear she did not want her marriage to end up in divorce. Nobody forced this dude to the altar. He did her and their children a disservice, in my opinion.

I agree with your entire post...just a tiny correction...they already had one child before they got married. Maybe that's why he felt like it was an arranged marriage...maybe he felt like he had to marry her because he got her pregnant. Not that it excuses him being a douche.

@@tnysgrl41 Ah. Didn't know that. Well, you may have a point there. It's just always so sad when children have parents who divorce. There are obviously no guarantees in life and sometimes divorce is necessary, it can be the right choice, but it always makes me sad. I feel people who make children together don't try hard enough to be good partners to each other, to try to make divorce unnecessary. Sad.

@@tnysgrl41yes he came from.an Italian catholic family from NY jennie said in her book & their child was already 3 when his family started pressuring him to marry his childs mom. Jennie also said they barely knew eachother although she was very smitten when they did a TV movie & they were fooling around & she had an unplanned pregnancy. He wasn't even there for the babys birth, tiffani & her mom were there. He also looks miserable in their wedding photos. U know use protection don't get someome u barely know pregnant than waste all their prime years adding more kids while ur miserable. Now he's got a baby boy while Jennie's girls are all very grown up. Her eldest child is 28! Anyway jennie in her book was so smitten w/ him & the stories she described plus the pics he was a real douche. Yea u got jennie pregnant but set her free & she was young so.she could have met someone else & had a family. I mean how are u not there for ur childs birth. ? She said he was busy doing some TV movie or play. Im sure they'd have let him go to see his childs birth. Honestly too bad her & jason priestly didn't wind up they adore eachother to this day. I know im.a fan of bk & they are just really close friends but when I read jennie was pregnant i.was surprised at the time plus in her book as I said she was so into him goimg on how she met the most beautiful " boy" & what a douche too he got her pregnant. To say arranged marriage is so demeaning of all her prime years wasted on him. She also refused in her book to even say why they split she simply said he moved out & u could tell how sad she was b/c after he left it took him several months to want to have their kids stay w/ him & she felt very lonely. Jennie is alao a country girl who seemed to want to get married & have kids young. She got married at like 19 to some wannabe drummer. She also im sure to please him gave all their daughters very Italian traditional names. Lola luca I know 2 are named. This really bothered me. I know he made twilight but I feel like jennie for years carried them 90210 all her TV movie money then had another pretty successful show what I like about u she was always hustling & working.

I know she thanked him for cheating because she grew from it, but he came off as a little callous… that “arranged marriage” comment would have hurt anyone, no matter their current state of happiness. At one point they were in love and they have kids together. I love Kelly Taylor & Carlisle Cullen just the same.

I am an incredibly cordial person, I let everything go. But if I had ex saying what this guy is saying. I would think I married a complete piece of utter shit. He cheated on her. Said their marriage was like an arranged marriage. They were together for almost 20 years! They had a child years after dating and got married like 7 years after dating. So idk if he's just finding excuses for his gross behavior but this guy is total trash. Him saying this, is just total disrespectful.

Arranged marriage? That's when someone feels they have no autonomy due to, usually, a culture that is born out of control and many people must escape...literally to gain freedom. You sir, had complete autonomy. And like every young newlywed, must go through the ebbs and flows of life and growing. If you were never in love, then say it, but take responsibility for stepping out on the marriage lmfao! And I am sorry but Jen.....you might have kids together but you don't need to revisit this and "thank" him for your growth. You still have your own issues then, unless you meant that sarcastically, in which case, I take it back lol.

I would like some clarification on that role and exactly what went on. As a Sagittarius man I agree with some of the points that Peter makes. Especially regarding him not knowing himself or his “true identity”, Sagittarius people often need others to validate their identity for them, and often times Sagittarius move quickly in relationships without realizing the responsibilities and consequences. What I don’t like is how Peter is trying to beat around the bush and almost make his ex-wife out to be the bad person. He needs to be truthful with himself and realize that what he and Jennie had was beautiful, and just because it’s over doesn’t mean you should slander the other person, or the relationship you had together. Clearly Peter still needs to mature in some ways.

It really does. She actually looks like her onscreen mom from 90210 a lot. Her hair is super long recently as I saw her on a 90210 podcast. Anyway she has a podcast w/ tori about 90210 & they had ann Gillespie on. Jackie Taylor was my favorite b/c ann was so great & realistic & i always thought she was perfectly cast looks wise as jennie 's mom. Anyway that haircut is gorgeous on her & she looks so fresh & beautiful in it. I think she's copying tori w/ the really lomg wavy blonde hair. Tori though bleached it & looks to have extensions & a hair weave or clip in b/c its so big
