Thank you. I just had my first farrowing experience. We had 7 live births and 3 stillborn. The umbilical cord getting cut inside explained alot of what I think happened to me. Now I know for the future.

Out of curiosity, how are dead piglets disposed of? Are they safe for human or animal consumption? To avoid wastage, can you turn or use them as animal feed? or do you just bury or burn them?

Our pleasure 😊 There are different feed formulas you can use. The feeds we usually give are; Maize bran, jubaili concentrate, big pig, wonder pig, lime and toxins binder. Sometimes we use soya, cotton, as well.
