Carti hasnt fallen off like so many other rappers in the past couple years bc the underground is essentially been fueling him like a battery as they are all offsprings of his WLR. Ken and Lone are building hype for him so he never has to drop. However they have basically done their job at this point. Once he drops his new album the sound of the underground will change and rage (at least how its been) will be over. Ken and Lone will either hop on his new sound like they did WLR or they will fall off and he will drop them (like Trav did to faygo.) Uzi has shown those guys more love than Carti. They have always been disposable to him.

Hot take: Carti probably wanted an identity of his own and not to be seen as Uzi's "underling". Before 2020 you couldn't hear the name "Carti" without Uzi also being mentioned, and with good reason, Uzi always brought his A game to their collab songs to the point where its hard to find a 1629 song where you can say Carti actually has the better verse... Even after 2020 this trend seems to have persisted, just compare their verses on SRT or Sauce Real Hard; it's no wonder Carti took Uzi's verse off of Other Shit and his other verse off of Shoota when its meant to be Carti's album.
