Why Premiere Pro is better than DaVinci Resolve

You can also have presets in resolve. It is called adjustment clip and you can store it in your bins so that is also in davinci.

All except rearranging the layout exactly how you want to. Not that I need that. I often find that the layout-flexibility of Premiere can also make it easily cluttered. If you can adapt to the Resolve standard layout I believe you'll work faster. I more often feel the need to adjust the layout in Premiere than in Resolve, meaning I waste more time adjusting the layout rather than working. And also audio remix.

Working like is not good for team edits like me I work with teams for big projects so It's really confusing on premiere when someone has there own style, it's a bit of a hassle to navigate where is where. What I do miss with premiere is you can put the the Video screen on a second monitor. I do miss auto remix too on premiere.

Music Remix and Transcription is definitely great in Pr and I REALLY hope DaVinci adds them in v19. But everything else mentioned can be done in DaVinci. Fusion is Ae, no need to switch back and forth and there's nothing that Ae can do that can't be done in Fusion.

Since 2006 when i was senior high school, i been using Premiere pro. But begin at march 2022, i switch to resolve, becouse so many error on my project again and again and makes me headcache. But Premiere or resolve are just a tool. If it works, use it, if not, switch to another app.

DaVinci Resolve Studio is $295 for a perpetual license and free upgrades. Premiere Pro and After Effects will cost you at least $50 per month, forever. This video is out of date and extremely biased.

Premeire and After Effects can be as low as $20 a month, as sometimes there's a video editing bundle. Creative Cloud is also $21 a month with a student discount (Even then, Creative cloud at $60 a month is a great deal, having all of Adobe's suite is insane, and really useful). Pricing isn't the biggest factor for which software to use (it is for some, but not everyone). Premiere and After Effects are also better in general for everything but color and performance.

DaVinci Resolve does have presets for your adjustments, its adjustment clips. Theres so much more to divinchi resolve that i had to find myself that now im working on making a tutorial to teach it all.

All of this exists in DaVinci, you don’t need even to open ae to do effects. Subtitles are old feature. And you’re not super skilled user and not used to interface you’ll be able to find all essential windows without Indian tutorial.

@@karelkasik No: - you can't do color management -the workflow is awful -you don't have good tool too affect and specific range like shadows -you don't have a way too add subtractive saturation -no printer lights -bad interface(lumetri) So yes, you can do color grading but never in a professional level. Only Davinci allows you to do this
