Hello Sir, I had a doubt regarding the resistance that the price may face during its up-move. Do you look left on the chart to mark levels where the price could halt or may make a possible reversal? I ask this because, since the time I am observing stocks based on your VWAP criteria, I mark levels at which the price can find resistance. Sometimes it helps to do this as price hits those levels and reverses, but sometimes the price keeps on breaking level by level due to strong momentum. What is your take on this? And how should I deal with this?

Sir how exactly can I spot a shakeout candle ? In VSA series you said shakeouts in an UPTREND usually happen with low volumes and do not violate Pivots. In the above video the bearish candle not only engulfed the previous bullish candle but also had huge volume. Technically, why am i supposed to still hold the trade ( It would be gambling if i simply wish for it to be a shakeout candle) ? What is the MAIN CHARACTERISTIC of a shakeout candle ?

On Most occasions, in an up trend shakeout candle will be on back of low volume. But at times it does happen on back of high volume. Low volume one can be recognised as it plays out. But, for high volume one, you need to wait for 2-3 more candles to see if follow through happens. High volume shakeout candles need more confirmation.

Thanks so much Ashish VWAP crossover is of limited use. Its the overall chart structure that matters and VWAP helps you identify opportunities. Crossover will negate this and will consider every 'Buy' signal equally. This will work only in trending phases and will be of limited use.

Very imp concept, if I were at your place I would have exited as bearish engulfing is a sign of weakness. Learning to analyze the way you did with price structure before the trade. So trading only two scripts for the last 3 days is this a good idea to just trade one script? How many opportunities would it provide? Thanks Mohit. For stock selection and for getting better at Trading strategy, one should just trade 1 instrument for 6 months. Forget about making money here and hence number of opportunities become irrelevant. Whole idea is to know how to trade and is to identify specific entry points when stock will begin to move.

Thanks Ravi Historical charts is the way to go about this. Pick out random charts and analyze the left side of the chart. Then playback the chart and see if you can identify opportunities. Initially it will be difficult, but it gets easy with time.

1. For stock selection, check the day trading playlist. Have done one video. 2. SL to be placed at near swing low. In this case it was at low of entry candle. 3. 5 min, 15 and 30 min are some combinations you can try. 4. Timing has changed for Currency/forex I think. Not equities.

Hi Mohit, I thought you were following Wyckoff & Stochastic in Swing trading. If so, you should have identified all breakouts in pharma stocks. Did you manage the same?

@@TradeWithTrend Yes wycoff was all set but the last LPS move did not help me to enter as I was referring to daily charts. I was expecting a slow steady move. Is this fundamentally wrong?

No its not. With experience you will get better.

Yes variations is what you will see in Trading. Text book pattern is rare.

Thanks Andy. Stock selection is a skill. Any pad lesson you do, it will take little time to get hang of it. Instead just trade 1 stock for next 6 months and see how and when it moves. This will help immensely.
