BTW Jess, you forgot to mention that the reason why orange carrots 'Took Over' is that they were selectively bred in the Netherlands where the royal family is called "The House Of Orange." Thus creating a blood feud between the House Of Orange and the House Of Purple which persists to this very day. 😅

Purple's always been my favorite because of the lilac hedges Gran had when I was tiny. Mum also used lavender and lilac "monster repellent" to help me sleep before my anxiety was medicated.

I knew a colorblind lady who couldn’t see purple so she didn’t believe it was real. She didn’t have access to internet and wasn’t social so the only times she heard about purple was from me and my friend and she thought we were just pranking her. I still find it wild that she couldn’t believe it but I suppose it doesn’t really matter

Considering purple is mathematically the inverse of green (elementary school color theory is a pack of lies), it sort of makes sense you'd pair the one with the other and also like purple and wear a lot of purple stuff. It's like the opposing sensations of moving backward and forward on a swing set or pairing musical notes with those half an octave apart to make pretty chords.
