The only question is will the stadium be in use the weekend that you would target. It is one of several stadiums that the DISD uses for its High School football games on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons.

Langston definitely has attracted a lot of DFW students at least since the mid-90s. As far as I know, Tuskegee has an old alumni base in the DFW and there aren't many Morehouse alums in the area; just a few.

A&T, Howard, Hampton and TnSU all have a small alumni base compared to PV, SU, GSU and JSU in the DFW Metroplex. However, A&T, Howard and TnSU would likely attract other HBCU's alums to the game, along with students, if for no other reason than to see their band.

For strength of scheduling, would you consider staying away from the DIIs, though the Langston game may be fire, and pursue FCS teams, including Southland Conference games like SFA. I only ask from the perspective of raising each school's and the conference's RPI for a better playoff seed for whoever receives and invite to the playoffs.

I personally HATE the D2 games. Only reason to even consider them is historic signifigance and maybe big pay days because of following, etc. but I prefer better football games against other FCS schools.

Dope idea... definitely gotta work the logistics and find the right team. but a damn good idea.

Yeah if someone can get the logistics in order I think we can come out with some money & have another game the fans will enjoy!

I think it would be nice to have the spring game there or spring scrimmages in Houston and Dallas. University of Miami has spring scrimmage in surrounding cities for recruiting purposes.

That's actually a really good idea as well. Gives the fanbase/community a chance to check out adn connect with the team.
