This is why I like the skyline, and generally speaking, the skyline owners. I'm a massive fanboy for every skyline, I won't lie about it. But every time I've talked to someone with one, they've been friendly, eager to share the experience of the car, and easy to get along with, even if you don't have the best social skills like me. I've never felt more personally connected to an object than the GT-R, though. And that's why no matter what's faster, what's more practical, what's got the better interior, what has the best MPG, my dream will always to have at least one car with the GT-R badge in at least the driveway.

First time I saw a skyline, it was dark out. Was sitting in the left turn lane waiting for the light, and saw a car on the opposite side of the road, the headlights didn't seem like any car I see here but look familiar. Spotted little bits of the front bumber & that's when I started thinking "no way". Then, I saw the guy moving on the right side, that was when I knew what I was looking at. Didn't really get to see it, until the second time I saw it.

For as long as I can remember growing up I wanted an Rx7 FD (as you may be able to tell by my pic) I rode in one for the first time when I was 7, and it blew my mind, changed my life. It was the first fast car Id ever been in. when I was just starting to get into cars with my older brother. I haven't owned one yet, but I have had the ultimate dream goal of a really clean well running one, until 2 months ago, now that they are showing up, I got to ride in an R-32 for the first time, and my first time ever in a GTR, through a friend of a friend, and while mostly i just rode passenger, the last 10 miles or so back (went on a 90 mile short trip in it.) and my life will never be the same. sorry Rx7, you're #2 now, as the GTR was so much crazier, and reliable!!!! lol edit, wanted to mention now I'm coming back to every R32 video I've ever seen lol

I just got done owning a 92 GTR for 6 months. The car was a 3.5 auction grade with only 56,000 kilometers. The car was a garage queen and it showed when I started driving it multiple times a week. Multiple oil leaks developed especially from the front crank seal, master cylinder started leaking, headlight switch barely worked, Crank angle sensor went out along with many other little problems. The problem is getting parts from Japan as the shipping is soooo slow. I would recommend a higher mileage one.

I had a ‘93 TH1 BNR32 V-Spec with a BNR34 V-Spec motor in 2009 for about 6 months. It didn’t change my life. I bought a Z32 on a whim a year later, and haven’t looked back since. The BNR32 is an amazingly capable car, but it’s by no means such a “Godly” machine. It’s only special because it was never sold there (I’m in Canada). In any case, compared to an FD3S or an NSX NA1, the BNR32 feels like a rock solid heavyweight. I personally didn’t like that feeling. I wanted something solid, reliable, but also loose. I never even considered the Z32 until I drove one after driving literally every JDM RHD car available to me. The drive changed my life - I realized that it was the car to have before stepping up to the 997 911 (my next car). The GT-R is an amazing GT car. It is not, however, a fun, jumpy, snappy car.

Ever since I imported my first GTR R32 in December of 2016 I was taken back at just how good of a car these R32 GTRs really are. For a car that was conceived during the 1980"s it is way ahead of anything from that era and beyond. Everything you have heard about them is all true. Yes it has limitations as any vehicle does and yes in its "stock" form 280hp may seem to many, compared to todays cars, as not much to brag about. I tell you there is nothing else I rather drive at this point. What Cardo_GTR is doing to his GTR is beyond awesome. Check out his channel and you will be amazed. It has definitely changed my views on sport cars and how good of an all around car it truly is. Great vid, thumbs up.

Great video David! Enjoyed watching you two talk about cars/life experiences and what it feels like driving/owning an R32. Yo Josh, can't wait till he sees your S2000. It's such a badass car. L8trs

Yup, I love the car community. It doesn't matter, cars bring people together. And the older a car gets, the more passionate people seem to get about them!

Does anyone care about the R33?.........its sad no one cares
@takuache6957 жыл бұрын
It's an amazing car but Nissan messed up putting a rb25 which is a little different from the rb26 and people rather have rb26. The r33 doesn't have the prettiest look either but I personally like them.

Don’t really like it that much. But that really keeps the price down

5:54 to 6:00.......you can definitely tell the RB26 is far more rev happy then a stock 2jz. I fell in love with higher RPM's due to the AE86 and the 4age engine.

skylines are too common now, especially the R35. seems like everyone and their momma has one😂not to mention soo many companies like Speed Society give them out like as if they are business cards, they arent a "big and rare" item anymore. I feel like so many people don't really want a gtr because they really love the car, it's more of a "i want super jdm street cred" type of thing

We in germany drive this cars only in summer, to be safe from rust etc. I prefer that more, even if you have to get a daily, your GTR wont loose so much on valus, just my opinion on cars like that, dont start to be sarcastic or cocky

And all GTRs which are driven in rain/winter start to rust after several months/years

The R32 is definitely my favourite, especially with metallic black, gold rims, and large side-wall tires.

Man I remember my first R32.... There's this crazy level of like.... idk how to put it but it kind of matures you somehow. lol Great ride man ! And great video ThatDudeinBlue! There's a TON of R32, R33 and other RHD cars here in Canada so its not really all that rare anymore but in the beginning yeah... people came up and shook my hand, Cops used to take pics of my car lol funniest shit ever. I had an R32 GTS Type M and a RHD FC3S with a J series cosmo twin turbo swap.... miss those days.
