@@shoeaddict510 I would not disagree necessarily, but I also would add at that time, I think they gave up after the offense played so horribly and they let the first run for the TD go. By then the game was pretty much over, but it does say something about teams sticking to the run throughout the game. It only takes one miss to have a big run. With the run you have to know your gap and stay hard-nosed until the very end.

The Chargers' Will Dissly body slammed Wilkins to the turf during the tussle after 2 pt try. The Chargers' OL owned Crosby and Wilkins the entire game. Alt is a rookie, it was his first NFL game. He was Crosby's daddy. Only one sack on Herbert, no turnovers. The Chargers sacked Minshew 4 times and forced 3 turnovers. Just an all-around embarrassment for the Raiders.

Wilkins is monster and I love Max Cosby, in my opinion, he is the best pass-rusher in the league. As a Chargers fan, just wanted to say, you only need a couple of big plays to win a game. This game is a blowout if not for miss tackle on Mattison. With this defense, next year when the Raiders have a good quarterback, this will a good matchup for years.

Something to note about all this is he’s right and he has video but it doesn’t matter because Crosby and the other DE both got shut down most of the game Wilkins known for some of his dirty tactics had a day we won’t deny that. But the defense overall was gassed especially in the quarter that mattered most. In a close game the raiders defense fell apart and the offense was no help either. You make make your case for Wilkins all day, but he can’t do it alone , as we can see from the film. Good breakdown tho but it’s all for not. In the cast for the Raiders offensively and defensively they fell apart , those issues cannot be overlooked.
