Why RANKED Is Not Worth It In Paladins...

My biggest problem with ranked is the queues. There’s simply not enough players to have well balanced matches in any sort of a quick way. They’re always 20min plus.

Overwatch ranked queue is no better. There are streamers who can watch a full 30 minute episode of a show or anime while waiting on a ranked match

What region and rank? Most of my queues are below 5 minutes

If your a mediocre player like myself and place in bronze or silver all your ranked matches are full of players who pick damage regardless of what's needed or super toxic Rambo types that constantly run into their death and talk shit on the healer the entire match.

I been in casual for the past 3 days now to perfect a build for Rei and other supports I'm learning (my Pip build is alright but I just need to learn potion aiming lol). People keep spamming "need healing" when they be so far out of position that me running to heal would be a bad play...well every play a bad play cause they really don't protect the support

I prefer ranked because I want to have some reason/goal to play like achieving a higher rank, if only ranked queues weren't like 10-20 minutes long...

Ranked is not worth it. If you have a duo or a group that you actually play with then go ahead but if you are solo queuing then forget it.

The problem with ranked is that you have to play a certain way to rank up. Anything before gold, you just have to learn the characters and some of the meta. In Gold, you have to communicate with your team. And use a head set to hear enemies. Past gold you have to que with a party in a duo. And from there, it's just grinding and making the meta work for your team. And always having a teamate (like minded individual) in your que.

The matchmaking or lack thereof is actually insane I was doing my placements and ended up in lobbies with a top 200 Masters player and diamond players, but to make things worse the enemy team had an aimbotter 2 games in a row so I placed Gold 3 lmao after playing in Diamond / Masters lobbies PS my duo was silver and I was unranked in a dia lobby

I think ranked is fun if you have somewhat competent teammates but my biggest problem is queues where it can take so long to find a match and the draft can take a while but overall not terrible just has the flaws of basically any game with comp

ranked is worth if u climb higher, then u get good matchmaking and actuall teammates and enemys who are good and fun to fight with/against

People that have problems or take ranked as a fun do whatever you want thing should just be banned from that gamemode. Ranked should be all about performing good, do your silly builds, talents and items in casuals
