Very reliable sources affirm that Fugue is a break and superbreak nihility unit who acts much like a harmony unit. She will buff Boothill, Rappa, possibly Xueyi, etc, as well as Firefly. An Emanator of Erudition, the real Herta - partly revealed during the 2.6 Livestream, during the SU update portion, as the Lisa-like woman sitting in a chair with legs crossed, her face hidden by a big book she is reading, wearing a big Elaina-style witch hat - will be released in 3.x, possibly as early as 3.0 as the first of several new. 3.x erudition units, as probably a busted limited 5* erudition unit. Just like Acheron, Herta is an Emanator after all.

Boothill is the single target break unit, Firefly is the blast break unit, and Rappa is the AoE break unit, though there will always be a little crossover.

When she was announced to be Imaginary Erudition, my fave element and path, I was strongly planning to pull for her, but because of the rumors that Sunday will release the patch after -- adding to the fact that it was confirmed by the drip marketing -- I unfortunately have to skip her. And it's sad because she's before 6 broken units, including the two for 3.0.

perhaps it's not the best moment for Rappa, but it's only for her upcoming competitors, not because she is limited to Pure Fiction (which I doubt, btw). You talk about PF as it is not at all connected with the meta, while in fact, it represents a solid one-third of end-game content. Jade covers perfectly such content, plus a portion of MoC and AS that welcome her as a sub-dps, and Rappa is going to be similar if not better

As a newer player, I’m honestly more concerned with the reruns I want over new characters atm. I love my Argenti and have barely built Firefly. I’m skipping Rappa for the time being, mostly because I’ll be pulling Dan Heng.

There's a lot of chars that could be used for that tho, Calyxes aren't hard. Meta is more concerned about endgame modes like MoC (Forgotten Hall), Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow.

She does ignore weaknesses though, so there's that. She can't implant to enable Lingsha or Gallagher though like Firefly can, but Boothill suffers from this same issue.

@hafiyfiyirfan6976 I think what they're trying to say is that Boothill's implant is more or less the same as ignoring weakness. In the case of Firefly she can implant Fire weakness for Gallagher or Lingsha, but Physical weakness in the break team is only good for Boothill himself. Although it wasn't mentioned in the livestrean, I'm positive that Rappa's weakness ignore will be less effective against non Imaginary targets - otherwise she would be OP.

​@@zaetorianHimeko/Herta as a pair is kinda overrated since they can only work wonders specifically on fire/ice weak enemies. Not having one of them hinders them significantly and not having both makes them unplayable. The problem is that sometimes people dont realize that they should separate them when necessary

@@zaetorian Yeah, they don't always work exceptionally well together. I didn't use them together this time either, but they're usually pretty good. I went with Herta and Jade for the first half, and Himeko break the second.

@eden5388 the description for the path doesn't even track. High damage and high survivability? Blade never had high damage, and Jingliu literally kills your entire party while having mediocre HP and DEF herself.
