While I can't argue about why German fans should dislike Leipzig. One must also understand the significance of a side in (the old) East Germany doing well. And how hamstrung that area has been historically. Before fall, and after the fall of the Berlin wall, all the teams in West Germany poached the best players from the east. And the other circumstances around this divide, set back East Germany by years, maybe even decades. If I had to dislike one team more, for it's exploiting of the German Bundesliga rules.. I'd rather dislike Hoffenheim... Nasty team. I'm hoping for Koln to gain promotion this year (they were the team i picked when German football returned before English, and i've stuck with them)
