Yeah. That's right. But you can always adjust the shadows and increase the luminance in Lightroom. That's better than bringing down the highlights and whites which causes a halo effect in the photo. The stock cam always blows out the details in the highlights which is nearly impossible to get back. Gcam nails the details from the shadows, midtones and highlights. Thus correcting a bit of the shadows wouldn't be hard. And if you use the raw mode in gcam, it'll give you more flexibility in Lightroom.

@@Abhi-nb1xo I think it is because of the "AI" settings factor in the camera especially front camera. If you turn off the "smooth" settings in "AI" in front cam and set it to "natural", this cartoonish photo issue gets solved upto a major extent.

i have a question for the realme 6 pro video's audio can we disable the noise cancellation manually? or its just built in and we just have to deal with the outcome of the audio as is. ever since this phone was release ive been eyeing to buy this but with the lock down it was not release in the ph so ive been looking in to reviews and so far i think the audio output was the only thing not cover or if it was covered in a review its just given a verdict of bad compare to other phones in the same price range. i really need info regarding the phones recorded audio output. by the way nice review seeing this review its still on the top of my list for looking on which to buy.

You have fair complexion bro, so gcam's tendency to make a person's tone darker doesn’t affect you so much... But gcam's selfies are just unusable to me.. It just make me more dark skinned than i am originally.. & post edit doesnt help much... So please do a gcam test on a dark skinned person next...

@@gizmoddict i did it already bro, dynamic range got totally destroyed.... It is a common gcam problem....old gcam5 doesnot have this problem... New all gcam 6,7 versions have this darker tone problems in selfies

I always overexpose the selfies, Dynamic range is completely fine, atleast on the phones I tested.

The only issue with Wide Angle in GCam is the Distortion. It makes the image looks weird if there is a straight line on the edges. GCam App, or any Android photo editors don't have a fix for Distortion. Every Stock Cam Wide Angle, will have Real Time Distortion Correction, this is one spesific feature that rarely available for 3rd parties, there is no alternatives for correcting edges distortion like that in Android.
