thanks for the info! i just got a 87 27.3 compac . moved across the country to get it. but its on land and ive been staying in it for a few days . i want to get it in the water so bad but the bottom paint will not come off. i bought a expensive scraper and while it works better than anything else ive tried its going to take 2 week maybe to finish at this rate. maybe the shock technique is what im missing

She was designed built and raced by famous Hungarian sailor Nandor Fa in the Vendée Globe, coming 5th and making Nándor the first non Frenchman to finish the race. She did some more single handed around the world races before ending up in Australia where she was extended 6 feet and competed in the Australian offshore racing under the name Broomstick, and then The Stick.
