Not very many jobs in Sequim. The large retired population supports the retail businesses, and Home Depot, Costco, and the healthcare and big pharma businesses, but the men and women working here and raising their families have no desire to live anywhere else. Why would they? They're raising their families in one of the safest and peaceful places you can raise a family in the U.S., especially lately with all the riots, crime, drugs, homeless, and all the long list of dangers in the metro areas. But there's very little turnover in jobs here, because no one wants to leave.

@@JohnLee-db9zt I would still live there…compared to Portland, OR where I currently live, Sequim crime rate would make me feel very safe. Why I’m trying to get out of Portland, it’s very unsafe here…and Sequim is on my list.
