Exactly. Stuff like him wearing a mask that belonged to a female Mandalorian is awkward, though it still works, and there is a legitimate plot reason for it. However, even a detail like this, Disney would pounce on it, and skew it into some feminism trash. There is nothing wrong with female protagonists, and pre-Disney SW has a lot of good ones. The problem is that Disney allows their higher-ups to inject their own agendas into the stories

You mentioned the hatchet in a tree as a declaration of war, and that removing the hatchet was only done at the end of the conflict, but you left off the part where the hatchet was buried as a sign of peace, which is the origin of the phrase “bury the hatchet”

I would love a live-action series on the Mandalorian Wars and we get to see many characters from the first two KOTOR games. But I worry that Disney will ruin it. They should really step back and let creators have more free rein. I would certainly feel more at ease over that and I'm certain many other people would too.

One misconception in this vidoe revan was never truly defeated by the sith emperor It was lord scourge the sith that helped revan at the time had a vision of possible futures Some where Revan won Some where the emperor won It wasn’t a 100% victory either way But he had a vision that would insure the defeat of the emperor 100% But that involved betraying revan stabing meetra in the back and basically ambushing revan It’s quite clear revan could have defeated the emperor but was to weakened and the fact he was cornered into situation where he couldn’t win even if he was capable but ultimately still was capable of defeating darth vitiate if he wasn’t betrayed

So, here's a nuclear take. (Not mine, saw it on Facebook) I saw someone making a defense case for Rey, saying that she didn't deserved to be singled out as a "Mary Sue" because Star Wars has always had characters who fit a similar mold: the whole "Is natural prodigy because plot/destiny", and cited 3 primary examples: Luke, Anakin, and Revan. Now, I can absolutely see an argument for Luke, given that the original trilogy played off of various literary archetypes, with Luke being the Hero's Journey Protag with a Magic Sword. If I wanted to be generous, I could even see and possibly make an argument for Anakin, being the Chosen One and one of the strongest Jedi and Sith ever. However, in what way does Revan fit into the mold of being a "Mary Sue", even CLOSE to how Rey was handled? Unless just by being the main character in an RPG game automatically makes him fit that role? I asked the OP to elaborate on this idea, but they never replied.

But with Keanu specifically, his actual temperament and also strong existing character associations don't really gel with the established character of Revan, who's a military strategist utilitarian charismatic genius. Mind you it's been maybe a decade+ since I played KotOR or read the Revan novel, and I haven't played TOR, so perhaps there's information that changes things. Revan seems to me to be something like between a Palpatine and a Thrawn, while Keanu + an amalgamation of his characters seems to be like between a Kylo Ren and a Din Djarin.

Live action Revan would be amazing. As long as Disney stayed away from it it could revamp the greatness of Star Wars. No Rian Johnson either. George Lucas taking the reigns for it could be great. Jon favro(can’t remember how to spell it & not going to cheat & google it) & Dave Filoni would kill it making a Revan film together. Dave by himself would be awesome. Early series Mandalorian John Faverro, awesome too. They’d make some good deep shit if they made it together & Kathleen Kennedy doesn’t just barge in with her stupidity & kill it like she has with everything. Live action Revan getting written & directed by Faverro & Filoni, acted by Keanu Reeves would be fantastic! I could see that being a Star Wars film getting awards out the ass & best actor/supporting actor & get Margot Robbie trained in martial Arts & fencing so she could be the beautiful & badass Metra so she could get best actress or supporting actress if she isn’t Metra. Anybody know a beautiful woman that knows martial arts & how to fight so she could play Meera? Dave & John with Keanu & a great casting choice for Meera could get things turned around & be the Star Wars movie we’ve been needing & deserve as fans of the franchise.
