Why Ride Arizona? - Eminent Onset 29er - South Mountain & Sedona - Mountain Biking

Over the last few years I've been traveling to Arizona to ride. I've truly come to look forward to it every year despite initially thinking it wouldn't be fun to ride there. This video captures a lot of the things I love about Arizona as well as some great info on the Eminent Onset 29er I was riding.

Another great vid man! But if you want to see some cool shit head south to Tucson! Mt. Lemon, the 50 year trail, Star Pass, one thing you will notice is that the desert in Tucson is much more beautiful than Phoenix. Hope to see you on some trails down there some day!

Exactly like that. The riding is really fun. There is a thing we called Arizona downhill though. Somehow you always end up climbing on the descent.

Hey man, I’m looking at this bike and as a Clydesdale not all full sus bikes can actually get dialed in for a big guy’s weight. Would you mind sharing your weight and shock pressure on this? I’d be super bummed to drop $6k just to find that it drags on the ground with me on it. lol

I was 285 lbs when riding that. I have no clue on the shock pressure. I wasn’t riding low. I think that the bottom bracket height is just low on the bike in general. I even read a review from a skinny dude and he said the same. I’d test ride it before dropping the money on it.

Sedona and south mountain are always considered +10 miles to whatever mileage you did. Whenever your out in AZ again hit up the Hawes trail system. Lots of good stuff
