Why Rio de Janeiro is AMAZING!

We loved Rio de Janeiro so much! We have been traveling nonstop for almost a year and have visited close to 20 countries around the world, and Rio is still one of the funnest places we've ever been to.
Here are places we visited in this video:
1. Juice stand in Copacabana - Total Sucos
2. Restaurant with incredible view and super nice chef in Santa Teresa - Bonde Boca
3. Best sunset we've ever seen is on the rocks between Copacabana and Ipanema.
4. The tour we booked was through our hostel (Selina Copacabana) and unfortunately we don't remember the tour company name, but it included: Selaron Stairs, Christ the Redeemer, and Sugarloaf Mountain as well as a really good buffet lunch.

Fully agree with not rushing it in Rio. You will need time to take it all in and Brazil is, generally, best enjoyed at a leisurely pace.

Muito bom o video de vocês, rio e são paulo são locais mais famosos, assim como o nordeste inteiro nos estados tem praias maravilhosas, Eu gosto do sul que é a parte mais desenvolvida, curitiba, florianopolis, balneario camburiú...só que eu moro em Cuiabá, MT no centro da america do sul, é muito longe, menor mas é muito bom estou entre pantanal e amazonia nada é perto mas brasilia, goiás, belém, manaus que é centro e norte do país é mais fácil chegar daqui onde moro. O país é enorme e muda muito cada região, estado, imigração, comida...

@@pjlipi sudeste é centro financeiro mas se pegar em desenvolvimento e qualidade de vida IDH sim é sul. Rio mesmo poderia ser um dos estados mais ricos, ganha com petróleo mais de 10 vezes o que arrecada porem é muita corrupção. Da mesma forma que MT onde moro tem um bom IDH e salário médio mais alto que outras regiões, sendo que aqui ficou isolado até 1910 +ou- deu um salto dos anos 70 pra cá.

"Small", LOL. It has an area literally 50% bigger than entire NYC. 83 km of beaches in the city alone. Even without exploring too much into the North Zone, there are plenty of things beyond the basics you haven't done. Barra da Tijuca, for example, is an entirely different neighborhood, with just one of its beaches bigger than Copacabana and Ipanema.

Love your video! We are planning on going to Rio this year. I keep seeing conflicting information on needing proof of Covid vaccines for certain things. Did you need to show for Christ the redeemer and sugarloaf? Trying to make sure we’re prepared and have everything!
