Robert Pattinson is a FILMMAKER at this point. Not just an actor. Much respect.

How? He doesn't even have any filmmaking experience? Did he direct or produce any film? I don't think he did

Is Robert just becoming one of the finest actors out there in Hollywood? I think he is one of the few actors who enjoys being an actor because he love it..not because of the fame and fast money..look at his roles and movies..so diverse..he even plays villain characters..hats off to you Robert!

He was incredible in this...might be I just didn't care for his characters in other films or maybe twilight stuck too hard to him for me to enjoy him in other movies, but in this he was perfect. Incredible film and great job by everyone involved in it.

After twilight he only do indie films...i guess to break the typecast of VAMP Edward cullen. .plus to Improve more in his acting skills. Well he finally did,hes Vengeance now 😍

In Good Times Robert extremely shines his acting skills. He is phenomenal in this movie. I also like water for elephants, remember me and does good in the other short roles like the lost word of z. I am so much looking forward to watch High Life and his next projects. I hope Idles Eye gets to the screen. Crossing my fingers for that one. Love you Robert for ever and ever.

So looking forward to seeing this. Robert's CV is incredible now and probably the envy of many 'actors' who chase only the dollar rather than an awesome project. Good Time should have had better distribution and A24 really fell down on this one, as it has now become a cult movie.
@joanr69156 жыл бұрын
I agree Luca - through Twilight he has the luxury of being financially set for life at a relatively young age which has allowed him to be selective in his choices. Also he has a lucrative deal with Dior which helps. I just admire his support for Independent film makers, which in an era dominated by Marvel type movies, is to be admired.

Become a cult classic?😂 Sure👌 Maybe people should stop trying to chase the almighty “artsie” film, too! No?

@@lucafustagno9719 He's not "mightier," but he also isn't dong commercial junk for the money, which many big stars do, over and over. Look at Chris Pratt for example. He makes one bad big budget movie after the other, strictly for the paycheck. He doesn't have to, he's rich now. Rob has always been an artist first. He fell into Twilight, thought it was a little indie horror movie no one would ever see. He did that for the money because he owed back taxes in the UK and was flat broke. He can afford to do anything now, and he chooses to make great cinema. That's admirable.

I also think so ! Her capacity in observing relationships on a very detailed and humanist way is quite unique & precious... 35 Shots Of Rhum is a brilliant study of characters, White Material draws us into a very lonely environment and utterly dangerous...Can't wait for the UK release of this new exciting project :-D

I think the time has come, directors, producers and studios start looking for him in a really well produced and marketed films. It has been long after Twilight that he has been acting in ridiculously good critically acclaimed but small independent films. People still dont think he can act, because that Twilight image is still haunting his work.

Faizan Naeem I think he’s doing an excellent job taking exciting projects, giving chances to new directors. He doesn’t need to get back to mainstream movies and blockbusters, he should keep that up.
@joanr69156 жыл бұрын
I think he is offered plenty of roles, Faizan, but he's not interested in generic Hollywood-type films. Personally I think he is working with great directors to learn their trade, and will one day direct himself. He is highly intelligent by all accounts, so I can easily seeing him working behind the camera and just acting occasionally, a bit like Robert Redford. It is very fashionable to rubbish the Twilight films, even though they are a guilty pleasure for many millions of people.

So sad Rob bailed on The Stars at Noon to do The Btman press :/ What a pity, High Life is incredible and I would've loved to have seen them work together again.
@yorkierussell92552 жыл бұрын
That wasn’t his fault. That was because Batman production ran over because of covid. The original shooting time was going to be 5 months. It ended up being a year and a half because of covid. Had that not happened, he probably would’ve still done it. Not his fault. That’s just how showbiz works sometimes. He’s far from the only actor in the world who’s had to quit a project because shooting time for another project went overtime. It happens all the time. I’m sure he and Denis will work again.
