Just pure class. Once Nolan's Tenet and The Batman is out, Pattinson is going to be known as one of the best actors working today. Not as "the guy from Twilight".
@YJ_SH5 жыл бұрын
I have always reiterated how damn underrated he is really. I mean he doesn't really get enough credit outside of that twi franchise since those detractors like to pigeon-hole him within that when it's becoming more obvious with time how he's really much more than just that twi sparkly guy which was just badly written in the first place especially for his character in there and he shouldn't be bearing all the brunt for that. I mean all the other "vamps" in the movie sparkle too and yet he has to bear the brunt of all those jokes because it was his character who was prominently shown with that glittering skin in the first movie, ridiculous really the double-standards.

And he even said in a really recent interview for the promo of his Good Time movie how it was so nice for him to be part of HP & the Goblet of Fire and that how his role in there really changed his life more than anything. And until today, I still see fanvids for hufflepuff and his portrayal of cedric in them so it's impossible to deny that he definitely brought that character to life. If only there are people who would just stop being so narrow-minded and judgemental though about him just because of that whole tumultuous twi journey he would embarked on later on but well I believe I myself as an average person who is not famous can't even please everyone, let alone him.

I am from India..and I feel he is the most genuine actor... if he dosent want to answer he will laugh it out or just say something but he will not manipulate things like Leo does at times. The only Hollywood actor I ever loved was leonardo after watching titanic 20 yrs back...but after seeing remember me and twilight...I love this guy Rob...and after seeing is interviews..I love him even more...not that he answers everything asked to him...but he is not as "manipulative clever" as most actors are...thats what I feel. He is great in his craft and I love him for his genuineness , his acting and obviously his charming look

Yeah. He is glad for the money and not stupid enough to upset that hornets nest of fans; but yeah, he is far too smart about films not to know Twilight was rubbish. It's good to see his talent realized.
@YJ_SH7 жыл бұрын
Recently found out that twilight wasn't even his first choice that he had considered when it came to scripts he was offered back then after his short but significant role in Harry Potter ended. He had actually tried to audition for the role of Jason Stackhouse in the HBO series "True Blood" and in the Transformers movie franchise but he only settled for twilight when he didn't manage to get those roles and his agent persuaded him to do so at that time. I always knew he would go far even after that cursed twi-franchise had ended despite how his detractors would want to see him fail since now he actually has much more choices to get to work with directors and actors who are actually talented and can actually explore his potential as an actor. The fact that this Oscar-related interview is even taking place with him speaks volumes about his true potential as an actor beyond those twi-movies.
@alesiabreen51247 жыл бұрын
The movie he auditioned for and didn't get before twilight was titled "Post Grad" look it up on IMDb a dumb romantic comedy,and he auditioned for one of the sequels to transformers as Shia LaBeouf was already the star he was trying for the secondary role as the best friend,true blood was just one of the many parts his agent Stephanie Ritz sent him up for. Not sure what your need is to say Rob hated twilight, he has said time and again that he liked making the films ,enjoyed his cast mates and even recently has been able to joke and make light of his twilight daze! Rob has made peace with the "Franchise" as it brought him wealth,fame and the ability to pick and choose the films he's doing now, the only thing he would have wanted to do without was the crazy-ass Beatlemania shit and the "Crack Troop of crazies" foisted on him, and the crazy baby,marriage,business arrangement cult trolls who harass those he loves!
@YJ_SH7 жыл бұрын
Well I didn't even say he wasn't grateful for any further success (post HP) that that twi-franchise gave him as I know he is grateful/thankful for that aspect, just that the potential and talent that he has as an actor that even others I have seen pointed out could obviously serve/do him better outside of what those twi-movies could offer him. And I obviously know about those twilight crazies who won't ever stop intruding into his social life and making up incessant lies and rumours about him which is what I was trying to point out when I say "cursed" franchise. Do I think he could do another twi-movie ever again? Maybe (even if he clearly doesn't need to especially right now with all the upcoming quality roles he's landing), but there needs to be serious script changes to any of those majorly flawed book-based twi movie scripts even if they were to do a reboot and ask him about it and I really don't see him working with the exact same cast as before especially with that promiscuous ex of his anyways even if he were to take on another of such roles in that franchise ever again, JMO.
@alesiabreen51247 жыл бұрын
Robsessed LoganEchollsLove when they talk about a reboot of course you know that means a whole new different cast, I think the most Rob would ever do in a new twi movie is a cameo as "Butt Crack Santa"! Lol.
