The Rock returning was the only wrench that messed things up cuz Vince only made Roman a top guy because he wanted to capitalize on Romans lineage in WWE & The Rock to come back but The Rock stalled each year saying he would n cancelling. Many Roman Fans think Cody doesnt deserve to win but Roman only held the title because of The Rock. If Roman didn’t have the possibility of bringing The Rock back he would not have been pushed this many years, literally 7 years of being booed as babyface would have had him dropped long ago if he had no family history in wwe. WW40 had to overcome the Vince scandal news so they made The Rock take over & who knows if they purposely did it or not knowing the loud backlash it would give ? They wont admit it even if its true cuz Vinces scandal is a No Go zone. So they will probs just act like they didnt expect the backlash but anyone could see their would be huge backlash cuz WWE fans are invested in the story & it would paint the picture of a rich powerful boss overstepping on the hardworking honest hero, for sure ppl would boo the Rock 🤦. Roman wont retire yet for sure cuz his story is not over, hes still gotta deal with the fallout of the Bloodline & The Rock too. They are gonna make it The Rock Vs Roman eventually cuz if Roman is retiring he will want to experience being cheered as a babyface once at least & right now its perfect time to close his story n make him become babyface easily. Fans are behind him for all hes given these last many years n it would go perfect with The Rock being the Vince Mcmahon of this new era.

I liked the outcome of this Wrestle Mania as for the reason I think the WWE should listen to the fans more isn't that why we come to watch a wrestling event for the Fans to react to what's going on in the ring as for the Wrestler's to get a reaction from fan's as well as into selling each wrestling hold by facial expressions by different move's or hits taken by the professional wrestlers telling us a story through there action's in the squared circle and through there promo's. Some people may like or dislike the ending of a story and the outcome but isn't the WWE should please the fan's it may not happen when the fan's want it to happen but when the story is finished and us fan's look back we understand why thing's ended the way it did and you may have some that are happy, sad , but and thankful that the WWE choose this place to end a story but as well begin another story the next night and also no major injuries to the wrestler's to who have competed in this week long event. Another successful Wrestle Manina in the books time to Story for a new direction.

With your reason I feel WWE has done this to itself because Roman was so close to breaking another record and become the third longest WWE undisputed universal champion. They shouldn't have let Cody go after Roman at least until Roman surpass Hulk. Now they had no choice but to let Cody win.

I think it's deeper than that. Roman Reigns has been legitimately ill and needs to take care of his health concerns, After, the tragic passing of Windham Rotunda, WWE will understandably be more cognizant of the internal health of its wrestlers. I wouldn't expect Roman to be back until his leukemia is in full remission. Praying for you Roman, and long live the Head of the Table! And congrats to Cody Rhodes! A well-deserved chance to shine!
