I wish more players were honest like this. Everyone’s legit, why they don’t give other players flowers? Humility is respectful

Glad this guy gave Ricky Rubio his flowers. Underrated passer. The real passers are guys who can allow you to find spots and your numbers go up. Ricky Rubio did that year after year. We overrate flashy passers that force guys to spot up, and overlook the real playmakers in this league. Also for admitting Pat Bev locked him up. Fans tend not to respect defensive players, and they act like Draymond, Pat Bev don’t cause havoc for offensive players.

Ngl I didnt watch college ball but i heard of Tatum, Zo, Fultz, Fox etc...but when i saw this dude in summer league i was surprised he didnt have more hype. Lowkey 1 of the best draft classes.

Fultz was legit colder than all of them in college tbh, he was the whole package right from the jump. It sucks he had that weird shoulder injury almost immediately after being drafted smh.

Bc like Donovan said the 8 game stretch is what really got him drafted. He had a crazy blossom in one summer. He went from a decoy filler player to a reliable 1st option in a tough conference

@@gamechanger114 nah he wasnt on radars like THAT fr. im a sixers/duke fan from STL so i def know about that 17 draft class lbvs. frank jackson, bacon, and josh jackson had more buzz despite turning out to be sub par. Josh hart had more buzz cuz of the chip. DSJ's mixtape went crazy..... fultz was not better than tatum, ball, fox, spyda or DSJ (who beat duke on his own essentially) for starters. fultz is a solid guard and wish him the best but lets not act like he was that guy in college. even now that he is healthy he's arguably 3rd best gurard on team behind cole and suggs

@@elliottsmith7530 Wdym nah? He was literally the #1 draft pick in 2017. Anybody that actually watched him play in college knew he was the complete package, that's why he went #1 overall... Idk why you referencing highschool hype and mixtapes lol, that's not nearly as much of a factor as watching how they actually perform individually at the college level. He was the conscious #1 pick for a reason. Your argument doesn't make any sense tbh. Just because he wasn't really on your radar doesn't change the fact that he was on literally every NBA scouts radar in college. He's clearly not the same player he had the potential to be with his shoulder injury so not sure why you're judging how is now compared to his current teammates. His whole jumpshot & career changed after his injury. Like he shot over 40% from 3 on over 6 attempts in college. Now with his new form he struggles to even shot that far. And that's solely talking about just his jumpshot, because I'd imagine with that shoulder injury it probably limited how he dribbles passes and plays defense. It's actually kind of incredible he's still able to play in the NBA with not being able to lift his arms certain ways he used to be able to. You clearly didn't watch alot of his games in college and don't understand how significant his shoulder injury was.
