The real reason nobody talks about: whatever is his opinion on global warming, Trump sees that the arctic polar ice is melting and the northern passages are opening up. This will be a future vital trade and military route for USA, Russia and China possibly bypassing the Panama, Suez canals and Malacca strait. This will be a maritime border with hostile states.
