The end and no winners. Unless, they have defensive capabilities that we'd public are not aware of. I do recognize that for the last three decades America has been on the offense and with developing offensive weapons. I also recognize that for the last three decades prior to the Ukraine war the Russians was not at war with anybody and they were working on defensive weapons. I know both countries are working on laser weapons. So, whichever country comes up with a way to defend against nukes will be the most powerful country on the planet. I'm not trying to be funny right now I'm not mad, but Russia and China might have the edge there. However, I don't think they're there yet.

The European Commission concluded in a report about Georgia that it was NOT Russia starting the conflict. According to De Hoop-Scheffer, the former chief of NATO, it was Georgia that tried to get control on South-Ossetia, having the idea of being backed through an opened NATO door. In other words, (some of) the claims in this video are clearly wrong.

I feel like the US’s desire for total dominance with itself at the helm caused this issue. When you isolate countries, especially strong, independent countries like Russia and China, they start to get their own ideas with themselves at the helm. The US should never have suppressed China and it shouldn’t have suppressed Russia. Now their anti-US rhetoric is so engrained into their way of governance that I don’t see how relations will change other than a total change in government, and we certainly cannot rely on Russia and China to change government anytime soon. It’s also impossible for the US to improve relations with these countries even if these three desperately wanted to, because the US’s allies also have engrained into their governance anti-Eastern sentiment, and any form of attempts to come together will be seen as outright betrayal by Japan, Ukraine and Taiwan. These countries will never be able to settle their differences, the only time they could was the 1960s.

What would the USA do if Mexico decides to go into a military alliance with Russia or China?
@garrettcochran9169 Жыл бұрын
Long and annoying answer below… Western democracies are based on a ‘social contract’ principle between the governed and the governors - Based on European enlightenment principles of Hobbes, Rousseau, and Locke. Authoritarian nations are in the western legal sense illegitimate because there is no consent from the governed, citizens of Russia and China are essentially powerless to effect anything that happens to them. They cannot effectively advocate for themselves or create political opposition. They have zero recourse and the government has absolute power. If Mexico wanted to become military Ally’s or closer to other unfriendly democracies such as Cuba, the US would not have any political justification for intervention. But if Mexico were to take a turn towards authoritarianism I can imagine political justification for intervention to remove authoritarians from power and set up a democracy. It’s not all that different from when a coup occurs and coup plotters are called illegitimate. What does illegitimate mean? It means that they were not elected by the constituents of that society and therefore there is no valid social contract.

On the other hand if West pushes on sanction,militarly and its hot war on Ukarine is motivating ..... Russia to look into the east and south , combining leaderships of business and militarly of Russia and China together. Specially dedollarisation, multipolar, colonisation effects of the West has mulitplier effects on the east and south to develop together. The trade war, trying to slow down China is seen as deliberately trying to slow down Asean development. The building up of Philippines militarly bases 6 to 8 numbers now is a tool to disrupt Asean progress if there is war be it South China Seas or Taiwan whic will not happen if the escalation is not here. We wanted peace and business development and not pushing war which US has a time table to make Taiwan war happen before 2027. Comment please Asean view
