The reason we borrowed an extra $6.3 trillion and there's nothing to show for it is because the dollars were used to keep the KSh artificially strong so that foreigners can exit or earn local dividends at an artificially strong KSh, and so that locals can import at an artificially strong KSh. The dollars borrowed should've been used to boost exports instead of imports.

The president has a very great plan for your country. Two years in power is not enough time for any leader in the world to deliver anything to the country. Remember he took over with huge debts and he needed to do away with some of them before appropriately giving out whatever he promised you people with. Jimmy the last time I watched you, you threw people under the bus. You told people to convert their ksh to dollars ? It was around 170. Today it's 128 at 42 less. It means someone who held ksh 1.7 billion in dollars is now worth ksh 1.28 billion. Damn it ! They just lost or became poorer by ksh 400 million. 400m can do a 250 bed three star hotel somewhere in kajiado near Nairobi. It can do 10 five floor apartment blocks of standard finishing.
