My husband and I bought our Lectric bikes in February 2020 (second shipment they ever sold). We took a chance with this new company, and 4 years later our bikes are still going strong! Both bikes fit folded in the backseat of our F150. We have taken them on many cross-country camping trips, and beat the heck out of them on rocky trails and sandy beaches. These bikes are tanks! We just replaced our batteries after 4 years of pretty heavy use. Customer Service is incredible. We are very grateful and very happy with our Lectrics (I bet I have sold 100 or more in campgrounds across the country!) If you are interested I highly recommend this company.

I really appreciate your explanation and demo of folding and unfolding the bike. The tip about just slightly walking during the process made a huge difference for me. So much easier.

Love the idea of a folding bike. We bought 2 full size e-bikes for the riding experience but the folding quality sure would make things easier to stow. I had to install bumper brackets and purchase an ebike rack rated for a trailer. Our bikes weigh less than the Lectric bikes but still are heavy making for a bit of a workout to get them up on the rack. Love the e-bike experience! Nice video as usual!
@RVTIPSANDTRAVELS29 күн бұрын
thanks Paul, I also had full frame bikes but they were much heavier. I have a tool box in the truck bed, which is even an 8' bed and I still couldnt get them in without angleing the bikes. I didnt want to go the rack route, so tying them down for every trip was a pain. Thanks as always for watching!

Love our 2.0 bikes, bought right before 3.0 came out but mostly same bike. Only real "design adjustment" or dislike for us is the Key on the bottom of the frame. Im sure there is a reason its still there but version 4.0 should try to move it to the upper side. Also recommend helmets with comms built in if you ride with others as you dont have to yell to communicate and you can even be couple blocks away and still chat.
@RVTIPSANDTRAVELS29 күн бұрын
thats a good idea! i noticed that we do have to yell at each other when riding 🤣

a friend of mine is 6'5" and says he loves it... because of the large seat and handle bar adjustment range, I would say that is probably not something to worry about. maybe someone else can chime in whos taller.

Love your videos and long time subscriber. I want to order two Lectric XP 3.0 but when I click on YOUR link for a discount code - all I get is their November Black Friday sale. Do you have a code for a better deal? Thanks!
@RVTIPSANDTRAVELS22 күн бұрын
Lectric doesnt offer any discounts to any of their partners above their current sale prices, but please use our code as it tells them where they are getting their business from, and helps keep our lights on and cameras rolling. Thanks so much Steve, here is that link: lectricebikes.sjv.io/nLrJ3x

I was considering Lectric e-bikes until I learned they have NO RETURN POLICY. How do I buy something so personal and costly without trying it first to see if it’s comfortable, I can manage the size and weight, it fits where I need to put, and a lot more questions???
@RVTIPSANDTRAVELS12 күн бұрын
I'm with ya... I think it might be worth trying to find a service center or sticks and bricks store that sells them before ordering online. I understand their position as shipping is a big deal with something this large and heavy, however, I wont disagree with you either.

Oh, I didn’t know they were sold in stores. I’ll have to find one nearby

We bought 2 XP's 3 years ago in Canada and enjoyed them up until they needed some replacement parts . Lectric will no longer sell bikes, parts, accessories and batteries to Canada so we have zero after sales support now. Very disappointed in Lectric, was going Rad power initially but made the wrong decision going with Lectric. Think twice!
@RVTIPSANDTRAVELS15 күн бұрын
This is due to Canadian ebike laws, not Lectric. This is not only posted on some sites about Canadian law, it is also posted on one of Lectrics competitors site. raevbikes.com/pages/e-bike-laws-canada#:~:text=Certain%20controlled%20access%20highways%2C%20like,are%20specifically%20prohibited%20by%20bylaws Lectric also put out a statement that they would still honor warrany issues, i dont know to what extent that means as it probably doesnt cover wearable parts. But again, this is Canadian law, and since Lectric motors exceed 500 watts they cant sell them there. I dont know when the law went into affect, but the updates Im seeing were all released in 2023, which would match your timeline. Sorry to hear that, and I dont have all the facts, but this is at least 1 clear cut reason that Ive found from a few different sources.

Nope... I did not get a sense you were stumping for Lectric. 🤨
@RVTIPSANDTRAVELSАй бұрын
Not really sure what you’re trying to say. Do you have a question?
@casperimprovedintransition800229 күн бұрын
@@RVTIPSANDTRAVELS You stated, at the beginning, that you weren't going to "sell" Lectric. But that is exactly what your presentation was doing. Lectric should pay you for the infomercial. I, in no way, have anything bad to say about their products. In fact, they would make it on my personal top ten list, as I have been watching a ton of ebike reviews, while I research a purchase. That said, there are a number of competing ebikes in that particular market, several with equal or better products, dependent upon individual tastes and requirements. Just saying, that you might have mentioned somewhere in your video, that there *are* competitive alternatives to consider.
@RVTIPSANDTRAVELS29 күн бұрын
Using that logic, I guess you could argue that ANY positive review video is a sales pitch. If thats how you process positive reviews, thats perfectly fine, its a free country, but the reality is I steered away from my personal opinions and stated facts. Reason #1, the frame, pedals, and handlebars fold, makes for more storage options. Thats a fact, not an opinionated sales pitch. Same goes for the rest of the reasons, accessories, equipment, price... all facts. reason #5, the experience, maybe you could argue that is my reasoning for getting an ebike and therefore choosing this specific ebike, but its definitely a reason why a lot of others get them, and ultimately that is what this video is about, why I think so many others are getting these for RV life. Additionally, you mentioned you have a top 10 list and to consider comparing this bike to other bikes. Honestly, I refuse to compare this bike to any other bikes until those companies send me the bikes to physically test. With 160,000+ subscribers, I have to believe that at least a few of them subscribe and watch because they trust my information; because I physically use every product I review. I would feel it irresponsible to release any type of comparison list or video until I physically tested and every product. In fact, I would argue that even creating a top 10 list of bikes should be done without riding and testing each one. I would also argue that the testing bikes is much more responsible way of reviewing a product, and much less of a sales pitch. I do appreciate you watching, and equally your input, but I will have to disagree that this video is a personal endorsement or "infomercial". Thank you for watching and commenting, I hope you got the information you wanted from it. Cheers!
