Oh gosh we just left there a week ago after having four nights at Puri Santrian. It was just so lovely. We have converted friends who only ever used to stay in Legian to Sanur. The Beach cafe at Prama have a beautiful breakfast. Warung Mina on the street behind Puri and to the left was amazing food and the live band at Linga Longa bar across the road were soo good! Love how everything is so quiet and leisurely paced.

Back from two weeks in Bali: Ubud, Sidemen, Amed and Sanur. Liked each place for different reasons. Sanur had nice restaurants, resorts and shops but we didn't find many attractions close by other than the nice walk along the beach. I liked Sanur's laid back vibe but the beach didn't seem great for swimming. Ubud seemed to have more cultural and natural attractions, but the traffic is bad. Found Sanur a bit too hot and humid where Ubud is slightly cooler. Sidemen had the best climate and natural scenery, but it's very quiet up there. Amed had the best swimming and diving if that's your thing, but it's as hot as Sanur and seems oriented to a younger crowd. If I had to choose a place to live long term it would probably be a quieter area outside Ubud

I totally get that 🤣 I would recommend Chic Salon in Jln Danau Tamblingan (across from Besakih Hotel) bc you can do THE WORKS there… haircuts 💇‍♀️, colour, waxing, lash extensions, manicure and pedicure 😊 I go all over the place- Ayu Spa can do most of that too (at Sindhu beach). The Nest is very popular also. Enjoy your holiday & the pampering 🤩

We have never been to Bali before but I’ve been watching your videos and they look stunning. Hubby wants us to visit next month, but my concern is I don’t handle the heat well. I’ve heard that not many restaurants and shops are air conditioned. Is it unbearable heat the entire day please?

Lots of restaurants offer an air conditioned area & almost all have fans to keep the temperature down! A refreshing pool is essential for a quick dip or a long relaxing float! The rooms are large! 35m2 for the superior rooms. The Club & Deluxe rooms are larger (approx 49m I think). Just check on bo0king.com We absolutely 🩷 Puri Santrian!! Location, pools, relaxed quiet vibe… perfect 🤩 (in our opinion 😉)

There’s no real facilities to keep children amused & its vibe is really quiet 😉 Prama, right next door, may suit better or Segara Village at Sindhu Beach?
