I have a saturn ruled north node, I come from a military family, I experienced death early in life and have continued to experience the death of friends and loved ones a lot throughout my life, everything in my career paths have been grating and a pain, I learned that I can't work for other people so I remain self employed and lacking in support in things like Time Off, sick leave and insurance. I have learned to not be emotional, not trust people and to be detatched in general because I understand that I will not get my needs met. I am more practicle than I can describe but I have no regrets about spending my young adult years "having a good time" because most of my adult life have been stressful and depressing, I have always been a tomboy, people constantly try to control me and find out that it doesn't work, I hate super girly stuff and will distance myself from people who stereotype feminity as something fluffy and pretty and soft, girly people get on my nerves. Life is a grind and then we die. I am a no nonsense professional Medium, I am the Zena version of Venus. I do a have a dark sense of humor that gets me through, I am the toughest person I know and I have learned how to be proud of that about myself at 50. I will say that I do not care about Saturn's 'gifts' so much, they are kind of like consolation prizes, I will be glad when I can finally stop working and just read books without having to meet other peoples needs for a living. Also, have learned to like being alone and prefer to live alone.

Saturn in the 1st house in Sagittarius. My whole life is suffering. I'm 38 . It's supposed to get better as you age but in my experience, yeah , it's gotten a little better , however by the time things got a little better (and I do mean a little ) it doesn't even matter anymore . Nothing matters anymore . The first part of my life was so horrible that it's ruined my present and future. I watch everyone around me get blessings , love , money, happiness while I work my life away with no partner , no kids , and one pay check away from losing everything.

I relate to your sad life. It has been much like that with me and - as you say - a little better - in some ways - as I got older. And frustrating also that most astrologers and fortune-tellers I have known or watched on YT have mostly said life was about to become wonderful, soon. This Saffron Sage lady seems to tell it more really and to me that helps a little; I can understand a little better why life has been this way. From going through my Saturn return , it made me go through a lot of shit. Lost my mom, loss of income and its limiting my money. BUt its also making my creativity bold. Have Saturn retrograde in the 1st conj ascendant at 26' Taurus. Also Algol on the ascendant. You're so right, my entire life feels like one big jail cell lmao. Trash compactor was another metaphor I used, like in Star Wars with the walls closing in. Got uranus conjunction soon, and then pluto moving into Aquarius activating a grand trine with Saturn, mars and neptune. Its best i think to go by that softer voice of your intuition it is instand it is sft it is suble sometimes in english other times images or a chance eeting with a stranger. Yours is in Sagg in 5th house. Look for your Saturn symbol, where it’s marked is where it is.
