@jugurthasyphax63412 жыл бұрын
Because it's probably in a greyer area than that. Remember, even most mistreated scientologists still believe in the religion and many Hole residents are likely convinced either that they deserve it, or at least that they can earn back their position and get back on the Bridge to total Freedom if they suck it up. Most probably despise Miscavige but since he controls the church and they're not ready to leave and disconnect from everyone and everything they know, they feel they have no other choice but to play along. Debbie's situation does sound like actual kidnapping, but I guess in most cases they don't actually point a gun at you. More like tell you: "Are you sure you wanna leave? Miscavage is probably more worried about former executives who are whistleblowers than the average run of the mill scientologist. The former executives can testify to direct conversations with Miscavage and also to his actions as seen first hand. They may also have some documentation, and gain witness support from others inside the organization. One day Miscavage may find himself criminally prosecuted for his physical abuse of people along with anyone who took part in it. Not to mention a huge, devastating lawsuit by prior victims who unite, and his fall will be great indeed!

@@andysmith1996 Honestly, it's not really any dumber than most other religions. The main difference is that it's so recent. There are still plenty of people around that actually knew Hubbard as he only died in 1986. Meaning that while the religion is a little over 70 years old, there are a lot of people that are still living who met him and interacted with him. It makes it a lot easier for people to call BS on than even the LDS where at least Joseph Smith died in 1844, so the likelihood of meeting somebody who met somebody who met somebody who met somebody that met him may not even be possible. Personally, I'm not a Scientologist or Mormon, I can't say I really care one way or another, but it's worth realizing that the main difference is that these are recent religions, and especially in the case of Scientology, where the standards for what is believable probably should be a bit higher.

Thanks for explaining. I wish everyone that's got a story to tell could write a book. I just watched The Vow & hope one day that there's an investigation on what this man is doing & is charged. Locking people up in The Hole is criminal so I don't get why there's no charges. Hope you're all safe in Florida. Hi from Australia 🇦🇺🐨🦘

I logged on a bit late and missed the opportunity to post this reply in the chat... On the one hand I agree that some sort of additional support options would be nice, for Aaron, this channel, and the Scientology abuse awareness community. However, limiting some/certain content to paid subscribers... would essentially go against the purpose of the channel... which I think is to get out as much information as possible regarding the problems and abuses within Scientology to as wide an audience as possible. Simply my two cents. From someone that isn't a Scientologist. Has never been a Scientologist. And probably has never even known a Scientologist... LOL! But is still horrified by what I've seen and read about Scientology over the past couple years. Keep up the good work Aaron!

Me and a couple of friends were kicked out the Scientology building in Amsterdam. We went in stoned and a little drunk and asked to talk to Xenu. They called the cops on us.

I think a lot of it is that 1) we only care about missing or kidnapped minors 2) Scientology can do whatever it wants with minors if the parents are brainwashed into signing the 'church' their parental rights away, which they almost always are, the parents are controlled by the auditing system and wanting to get to the next level. So anything they want to make a parent sign, they will. Same with adults signing away their rights in other ways. Like, when they're in the hole, they technically agreed to be there. It's kind of like being abused at a private party where the only other person there is the host and they have a lot more money and power than you, so you CAN leave and you CAN accuse them publicly when you do, but you kind of are going to have a hard time exercising the rights you have on paper. But it's mostly a case of don't underestimate how far people are willing to go when they think these rewards and punishments are real and they've become addicted to the approval of the organization.

And hers is a story of a celebrity inside Scientology,. Think of all the serious crimes commited inside scientology were victims were forbidden to report and even had to suffer being blamed for things like rape, serious physical harm...etc. horrific like you wrote

A-A-Ron!! That’s fascinating,, I never even considered it from that perspective. Of course,,,, that’s why I watch YOU! To keep me informed with all the goings on. I’ve contacted a couple of the ‘law’ YTers and the only response to will they be covering the Masterson case was hesitancy. EDB said on a recent video that she worked with someone (when she was in the DAs office) that COS was fair gaming and it was pretty bad. So she may not be willing,, it’s understandable. I’m going to keep trying,, this case deserves more attention. If I find anyone I’ll let you know.

Could you discuss this subject, if true: During the pandemic, 2020, I saw reports from people living in Hemet, California near the Scientology compound reporting that during the lockdowns they saw a huge influx of inbound materials, i.e. trucks, shipping containers, construction materials ect. Thank you

I find it interesting that victims of child labour trafficking need to sue their abusers in order for anything to happen. I thought the police was supposed to take action when laws are violated. Has even the police been privatized in USA? Is there no such thing as laws anymore?

I checked out Scientology along with a bunch of other religions in my late teens early 20's. Even before I had accumulated so many life experiences, my BS detector was going off like a car alarm in a bad neighborhood. Anyone that demands you pay them money for salvation, is running a scam.

I've read that both Tom Cruise and John Travolta were both high ranking members of Scientology. But reports have recently stated that Travolta has begun to distance himself from the church. I'm wondering if he has grown enough backbone to speak out yet? It would very interesting to hear about his personal experiences.

I really think it would be fitting punishment for Miscavige (sp) to share a jail cell with Warren Jeffs. It would be pay-for-view TV.
