You are correct, I've met such people. Many people in this country have little or no interest in history which I believe to be our Achilles heel. Many people claim to be patriotic and maybe they are but they don't really know much about our history and so can be easily influenced by those who, for whatever reason, wish to rewrite our history without producing hard evidence.

Sadly I have met enough thick people in my time to be assured that if they see it on TV they will think it is historically accurate. I once had a Rastafarian tell me in no uncertain terms that Beethoven was black and even after a quick trip to a local library where he was shown portraits of the German composer he still said he looked dark skinned. The recent swearing in of a female Lord Chancellor with her hand upon the Quran is concerning. This has nothing to do with her capacity for the role, but it provides the impression that the Quran recommends just treatment for all in the Common Law sense, and that women are politically and socially equal to men in Islam, which is not the case. It opens wider the gates of acceptance to those things, such as Sharia law and hate marches against Jews, that should not be accepted.

I'm a history buff and resent the depiction of historical figures purely for a virtue signalling exercise. For example, a fairly recent BBC production depicted Anne Boleyn as a black woman. I find it thoroughly weird that when a white actor of note assumes the role of someone from another land, it is frowned upon but when a black actor does likewise this is somehow seen as progressive. Notwithstanding the fact that the white actors assuming such roles are usually actors of note Peter Ustinov, Michael Bates and Scarlett Johansson spring to mind whereas the non-white actors assuming such roles always seem to be otherwise un-noteworthy and thus court their fame only by taking on such a role. In the political arena choosing leaders based upon their skin colour is clearly a failed experiment, the damage from which is only just beginning to unfold.

South Africa has for the last 30 years had a deliberate and vigorously enforced policy of hiring "historically disadvantaged" (i.e. black) people for any and all jobs. The idea was to "redress past injustices" by forcing these arbitrary conditions onto the entire economy under the assumption that it will (somehow) fix the problem of inequality. An assumed solution to an assumed problem. What could possibly go wrong... All it has done is (1) create more inequality and resentment between the races, (2) all but destroyed the long term economic prospects of the economy, and (3) provided a space for the industry of compliance to become entrenched. This last fact is particularly pernicious because it allows people that produce nothing to dictate the conditions of labour to those who produce everything.

That an adult was to behave like that, and no one took issue, *before* putting him in charge, is appalling. on another point: this is why a national cohesion is so needed, and that need is felt deeply. We like to share time and efforts with people that share our values, or CUSTOMS and our worldview. No matter how loud the globalists bang their drums, people from different geographical areas do not share the same values, the same customs and the same worldview. Why do they think foreigners, when given an option and in the case they didnt flee a worldview to begin with, do not integrate? They dont want our worldview just as much we dont want theirs! And there is a hierarchy of cultures. And the foreigners know this. Thats why they immigrated: the worldview of the people that they are joining, is superior and produces more freedom, safety and wealth than the one where they come from. But the ones that don't integrate, and bring 'here' (wherever that is) their own cultures, customs and keep among themselves, they want to maintain the culture, but separate themselves from the consequences of it, and benefit from the 'host country' culture consequences/benefits. Have their cake and eat it too.
