Piper would definitely love that shield that Seth provides, given that you will likely facetank damage if you want to go on a full spin combo A good ration is probably: Jane Combos > Parry into Seth > Do all Seth Combos > Quick assist via charged BA into Piper > Spin2Win

Mm putting Piper on a Jane team is a bit redundant, since both finish assault so quickly and usually you want to proc two anomalies to get disorder, Piper anomaly teams will probs be better when Burnice comes out (No Seth faction bonus though 💔)

To me it looks like Defense agents will be a mix of support and stunner. Not as good as a stunner, not as good as a support, but providing a good chunk of both. Makes sense especially for disorder teams

Honestly I think he'll also be really good in a mono-shock Grace hypercarry, Rina with 4p Jazz + 2p Freedom(AP 4, AM 6), Seth with 4p Shockstar + 2p Jazz/Freedom(depending on ER), AP slot 4 and ER 6, then if he gets a weapon at some point with ER switch 6 to Impact. Can run with Plug/Magneti/some sort of generic Damageboo and focus on utilizing Grace's core passive to the max while also not being as fragile/awkward to play as Grace/Rina/Nicole currently is. Especially with his assist forward, it will allow for incredibly quick/fluid rotations as you can just zip about depending on what needs refreshing.

I was going to pull Jane and Seth completely blind because i LOVE their designs, so the idea that they have decent kits and even work well together is truly music to me. 1.2 units don't speak to me as much visually so I am likely going for Jane's wengine too; praying for plenty of Seths and Seth-gines along the way... and I lucked into Rina on standard so I am considering putting her in that last slot, but I'm also happy to try out Piper in that team! Sorry to yap, I'm just excited for the future! 🎉

I use Grace (On field) with Piper Rina as my anamoly team and the swapping works well and the damage is respectable, Piper does just fine being off field until she runs in uses and ex special to proc assault and disorder and leaves again, Grace being able to burst shock on as well works wonders even without needing a stunner. Maybe I'm missing something but I have been running anamoly teams without a stunner and have been not meeting TO MUCH resistance. I am new ISH and haven't gotten much further than simply getting units to lvl 40 with decent w drives so take what im saying with a grain of salt.

I could see him on 4 p freedom blues with 2 p energy as far I've seen the 4 star sig it seems to also build anomaly build on his on ex attacks which in return would allow grace to go for another set since he would provide the build up shred since I see a problem with jazz only working on chain attacks or ultimate which I don't feel u want to waste it on Seth On Rina I do because she supplier's energy which in turn also allows me to apply anomaly faster.

I was thinking the same thing about him but not that high x) Ben was the only defense character then it was complicated to see the global purpose of that archetype. But like Ben, Seth is a hybrid between stuner, buffer and sub dps. really cool. King Caesar seems to confirm that.

Wondering how well a Soldier 11, Seth and Jane disorder team could work (mainly cuz I don’t have grace but still really want to pull for Jane). While it doesn’t proc S11’s additional passive I’m thinking she’ll be fine without it because all it does is increase her damage when attacking a burned enemy and burn is probably the anomaly effect that will get replaced most often when a disorder gets proc’d. Also having Seth on the team could help S11 inflict burn faster

S11 passives are increased damage from her timed attacks, and when ele/faction matched 10% more fire damage, which increases by 20% if the enemy is stunned. The fire set increases crit rate if the enemy is burned, maybe that's what you are thinking of?

Long story short, we don't know yet as ZZZ is a new game and might play by it's own rules, but going off of how it works in all of Hoyo's other titles, A-rank units introduced on limited banners get added to the standard pool after their introduction patch runs. What this means is that, while it won't be very likely to occur, you could get spooked by an off-banner Seth while pulling on Caesar or Burnice.

Ofc some will run a cheaper version of piper instead of jane or grace instead of burnice or Seth instead of ceasar. But ultimately this is what hyv does. In hsr, dot teams, required Kafka bs rm, then in fua team topaz Robin Aven, and that’s with their lc all contributing heavily into the calcs. I’m doing people a service, ppl can do wtvr they want. But niche will always be the most expensive with not top tier pay off in hyv games. It’s just business

I think the question we have to ask is what is better. reduced buildup res to electric or 20% generic dmg bonus for the entire team (swing jazz 4pc). For Seth at least. Jane will likely want fanged metal. We will need to do a lot of testing to find this out, especially since it will also vary team by team likely

I'm skipping Jane Doe and Seth. I did 110 summons for qingyi and that's more than enough for me. I need to save for the next characters now. While Seth's kit seems quite good for anomaly focused teams, I'm just not into playing guy characters in zzz. I'll wait for the next Seth but female, or make do with another alternative that still gets the job just fine.
