It’s def astronaut because in the achivements it says perform a SPACE WALK IN LOW EARTH ORBIT and when you time warp faster than 5x and click capsule it says CANNOT USE CAPSULE WHILE TIMEWARPING!!!!

That timewarping thing you mentioned is dumb and doesn’t mean anything… BUT, if you try using a vehicle without a probe or a capsule it says it needs a crew in order for it to be controllable.

Water is pretty much finished, with some bugs to fix. Astronauts are practically not done at all, that would only postpone a feature, which otherwise is almost ready.
