Great video as always matt, I love shrimp and would love to get some can you tell me which shrimp would be the best for a beginner? Thank you so much :)

Hello Again. If you are starting you can't go wrong with cherry shrimp (Neocaridina Davidi). They are super easy to keep and breed. And I think that they are most common and therefore cheap to buy. Neocaridina also come in different colors - so you can be creative with your setup ;) I would avoid Caridina species as you first choice because they are more demanding when it comes to water parameters (and also more expensive). Thank you very much for watching and your comments! And good luck with your shrimp! :D

I have a ghost shrimp who seemed perfectly fine and was eating but suddenly turned white and isn’t moving. Is it dead or preparing to molt?
@arianasofia89303 ай бұрын
Yeah i have same problem 😕. It's turning from clear transparent to white, i thought it was dead so i feed it to my other shrimp anyway

Dead, the molts are actually clear, if they are white or if you see a white body it’s dead 😭 (I made a mistake and killed one of my three shrimp by putting them in with my betta, but their happy now and molting)

Should i remove the molt if i only have the one shrimp?
@AquascapingCube9 ай бұрын
I wouldn't. Just leave it there. And if you have cherry or similar shrimp - add more, they will be happier ;)
