Whenever I talk about the evidence for God and Christianity, I feel like no one cares, both believers and non-believers alike. It makes me feel lonely sometimes, but watching your videos remedies that. Thank you for all your hard work!

Same. Im astonished how brothers and sisters dont care about proofs. They rather have their safe blind fate for some reason
@rightousliving
@rightousliving 3 жыл бұрын
Proofs are difficult to get when you haven’t been there at the time Jesus lived and died. It’s even more difficult when there are no original writings of any letter and book in the bible. Still more difficult when there are no good sources outside of scripture, the few we have are open to different interpretations. The only real proof is to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to allow Him to guide you into all the truth. And that is precisely what Jesus instructed his followers to do. Never did he say that they should create another bible, he wants us all to be taught by God Himself. The bible is only useful to guide us to God and learn about Jesus, but unlike what the Roman State Church taught for nearly two thousand years, using every trick in the book from manipulation, lying and violence, to push a Roman doctrine about Christ and not the truth Jesus actually taught, the letter kills, the Spirit makes alive. Be filled with the Holy Spirit and cone out of the Hure of Babylon. Judgement will start at the house of God first, and we are at the brink of this happening in our lifetime. Pray for revival of the Holy Spirit, He is the one most neglected in the church and yet the only hope that we can escape the coming judgement. Jesu takes shape in us through Him only, not through the teachings of any man or woman. Teachers in the church have only one role, to lead us to God, and how to be taught by Him. Once they did their job we don’t need any teachers anymore because we’re taught by God himself. However, pastors and teachers don’t like this freedom we have in the Spirit and want to enslave us to their teachings and judgements. They want us to be dependent on them instead of God.
@rightousliving
@rightousliving 3 жыл бұрын
@Justin Gary don’t say „proof“ but „evidence“. It has never been proven that Jesus existed but there is good evidence he did. You can only proof it to yourself by being filled with the Holy Spirit and Him guiding you into all the truth. To know God is always a personal experience and unless someone opens himself up to want to sincerely know the truth you can never convince them. But you can always ask them to pray that God reveals Himself to them.

@Justin Gary Hi. I have been saved for a number of years, so I'm very familiar with apologetics, arguments for creation, eschatology etc. I was referring to the timely manner in which Jesus chose to bring the work and, more importantly, humility of pastor Mike to my attention. It's been a difficult couple of years, but the Lord has blessed me with a sound mind through tough times. All praise to Jesus Christ, our Lord. It's very kind of you to share so much information and stand ready to give a defense for your faith (as we have been commanded.) Seeing that from someone is encouraging in these times. God bless you for that. I believe Jesus will return soon and He will set things right again. We are standing witness to the end of the age, and the accuracy of Biblical prophecy is a great source of comfort to us and an invaluable tool to reach the lost. Have a wonderful day.

I agree. Growing up, I loved the Bible, but Jesus wasn't even one of my favorite characters. I (as a young boy) preferred the exciting war stories of King David over the wise teachings of Jesus. Now as an adult and am coming across unbelievable amounts of evidence for Jesus, His death, and Resurrection, not only has Jesus become my favorite subject in the Bible, but I hardly care about anything else outside of the Bible in comparison. I go all day obsessing about this stuff now.

I remember when I was 13 and God knocked on my heart, and the moment in my life when the bible became not just any old book of ancient parables but a history book; and I sat there thinking, there must be a more logical, simple reason for all this. Clearly, a dead guy didn't come back to life. What really happened. So I sat down and watched the history channel, this was 1993-1994; "The History of Jesus" but it should have been titled "The Skeptics of The Jesus Seminar Rewrite & Reimagine History". I heard all the major theories of the day, and I said, they look desperate for me right now in my moment of near belief to believe anything but the bible. I turned it off and said, you have to have more faith to believe septics than the bible, and then I read "A Care for Christ". Their points haven't changed in 27 years; they are saying the same stupid things. They act like the Romans were stupid. You don't run one of the biggest empires in the world and not know how to kill someone. That's like saying, the Nazis had gas chambers but did the Jews really did from them, did the Nazis know how to kill people?

That brings to mind that as far as I know there hasn't been a parade of skeptics volunteering themselves to be scourged and crucified and stabbed with a spear as described in the Bible so they can prove it is possible to not die from that.

Great prophesy about where he’d be buried. “And he made his grave with the wicked, (the cross surrounded by guilty men) and with the rich in his death; (the tomb that belonged to Joseph) because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth." Isaiah 53:9 Enjoyed this message. I didn’t know about the Jewish custom, of taking bodies down to protect the land, and that they needed to be buried so quickly. Nor did I remember reading about who took Jesus down from the cross. I love learning new facts about the Bible stories we’ve been reading for so many years.

Love all you’re hard work Mike Winger. I’m sure you’ve said this before, Mr.Winger, but God will never give us the proof former Atheists like myself needed. It must be our Free Will along with the evidence you present and the timeless truth of His Word. God gave us tireless , genius, Apologists like you, the evidence Jesus left and our Free Will. Only through our Free Will can we choose to glorify his name. It is God’s Plan, but Atheists often don’t believe in Free Will. May God bless you.

It's funny, christianity seems to be so much about faith, but the more i watch this channel, the more I find myself struggling with ACCEPTANCE. i've been a theist for quite a while (after spending my life as an atheist up until my mid 20s), so i've wrestled and grown in faith to god. not yahweh, specifically, as i wasn't sure what god was like, or if there were many, etc. but i was learning about him in my own way. but now I'm over here like 'wait wtf jesus was actually maybe really yahweh in flesh wtf??' Your teachings about the bible have been so fascinating and helpful. i've desperately hoped to find someone like you since i was a child! the history of the bible ALONE is incredible and i know very little about it, but the theology is fascinating too. but boy, i just don't know how to feel about this now, because a lot of my spiritual practice seems to go against the teachings of yahweh. but those practices were a HUGE part of my growth as a person. divination, for example, i'm not sure what the bible means by it compared to how i personally use it (i use oracle cards, not to read the future, but to assess my own perception of symbols/meanings/etc, but also as a minor tool for communicating with the divine). i also work with spirits/angels/guides (whatever you want to call them) which seems pretty demonic according to the ACTUAL teachings of the bible (as opposed to how new agey 'christians' talk about angels/christ consciousness/etc), but those guides are also encouraging this study, which seems weird if they were satanic lol another is my use of statues. i've taken the commandment against 'graven imagery' (and the commandments in general) very seriously over the years, it's a fascinating distinction between yahweh and other gods, and they provide a good way to think about a lot of different issues. i don't worship them, but i wonder a lot about whether a god like yahweh would take issue with me using them the way i do (as symbolic for concepts like divine masculine, etc), mostly for introspection and spatial play. i assume most christians would think my practice would be idolatrous, and i think it is a bit, but it's also been extremely helpful for me as a person too. funnily enough, for several years now, i've actually included the concept of 'the lamb' in my understanding of spirituality. i take a very different look on the story of jesus than most christians seem to (god inhabits the sacrifice in order to understand the sin of man and guide mankind towards salvation), which i think is actually biblical? but that would mean we humans are essentially as pure as sacrificial lambs in the eyes of god post-jesus, which doesn't seem to align with the way the body of christ sees the issue. but also makes sense to me. the crux of it is that i suspect yahweh isn't actually 'perfect', so to speak, but as perfect as can exist, and that he actually grows and develops over time and gets 'better' at being god. my understanding seems so antithetical to biblical teachings, but also seems to fit it better somehow. it's difficult for me to sort through it lol thank you for sharing your work with us. the world is better for it. bless

@@theoskeptomai2535 I met Jesus Himself 😀...Didn't grow up with any religion no influences at all. Searched for truth for 40 years, got wound up in conspiracy theories meanwhile convinced that this isn't all there is to life. Eat, work, sleep repeat then die...Same old hamster wheel going round and round. There had to be more. Daughter told me it was God vs the devil, I laughed at her. But like all things I questioned it. If there was a God vs devil battle it would sure make more sense than what's going on in the world. I believed when I was a child, what happened? If Jesus isn't real why do I curse Him? If God isn't real why do I thank Him? when I get out of a scary situation. If Jesus isn't real why is the world's time line based on His birth and death? Then Jesus Himself came to me in a dream telling me "I am coming!". To tell you all that happened in that dream would take way too long. Even after that profound dream I still didn't give my life to Him. But was still searching not wanting to believe "Jesus" was the way the truth and the life. After years of philosophy psychology and new age rubbish. I finally got on my knees swallowed my pride and asked God Himself, is He real? Is Jesus real? Is there a battle going on? All I wanted was the truth, in fact I begged for it. I was tired of being lied to. And I found the truth and Jesus set me free. If you're genuine in your search for truth and to find out why you're here. Ask Jesus yourself I know for a fact He'll answer you. Thank you for asking. Have a great day 😀
