Sometimes the scripture only said wine, and then you went on for 5 minutes of how it was a heavy alcoholic drink just like our wine today and spoke this as fact, but with so little given, that's merely your opinion and interpretation, but to the open minded, you've convinced them that your interpretation is scripture. Same with the Jesus turning water into wine. That is such a small passage with so little to go on, and yet you base so much of your interpretation claiming it as fact and lead so many to believe your opinion. Also, in this video, Joel only said a little, and then you spent the next 5 minutes on interpreting his intentions for him what you think he meant as if its fact and when you read his message, I didn't hear that in his message at all, but what you said, seemed off and nit picky and trying to make it sound bad. I'm a conservative agnostic athiest with a Catholic/Christian upbringing.(My dad got remarried and we went to non-denominational churches over catholic churches. I'm very wary of movie and book adaptations of the Bible nowadays...There's one telling of the story of Mary that i really liked so far, and it's from a book called 'Lineage of grace' by Francine Rivers. The story followed her point of view as she was told she's going to give birth to the Messiah, her marriage and life with Joseph and Jesus as a child, Jesus in ministry, and how she eventually accepted and saw Jesus not as her son, but as her Lord and Saviour. The book was written SKILLFULLY. There's always the dangers of feeding our own biases into a story when people want to do their own adaptations of parts of the Bible. But there was no radical feminism, no political commentary or whatnot. The conversations felt REAL and IN CONTEXT with what people believed and thought according to their customs in that time. It didn't downplay the women, it was actually about the women brought into God's people through faith and how they tied into the lineage of Jesus, thus the title (Lineage of grace)✨️. Through it all, the most interesting thing is that it brought me back to the Word of God to read it for myself and understand. God was kept central. And it opened my eyes as to what is meant when we say 'Jesus Christ is the Word made flesh'. When the Bible says 'The sword shall pierce your heart'... and what qualifies a person as one of God's people in the promise he made.🌹✨️ I am not idolizing her writing. But i think that we can do amazing things if we are a skillful person AND seek God honestly in all our ways. If God becomes central in our lives rather than one of the many opinions we have of life to use whenever we see relevant. I see sincerity in her work and am thankful to God for it.✨️

Anthony Hopkins also played Noah in a movie that was extremely unbiblicle. So I wouldn't get too excited. You know any dramatized depiction of anything in the Bible is going to be way off.
