I've bought a j4 pine green pair on pandabuy like 4-5 months ago, payed 48$ for them and the quality is insane, honestly i've had some real j4s in hand at a store, but the quality wasn't really better, the suede was the same and the leather was pretty much the same on feeling. Great purchase and they still look great even tho i washed them a couple times. I will never buy a real shoe again only if it is something more accesible that looks good too.

You should check our experience with the rep Dunk Panda, in general reps looks very similar to the real product but the materials used are way cheaper than we might expect 🤷♂️ But yeah unfortunately for the price it's obviously the "best" option
@eddyrivera7287 Жыл бұрын
One of the biggest reasons for the price spikes as well is when these Brands started sponsoring (paying) athletes to promote their products which ultimately the consumers end up paying.
@RAPIDSVISION Жыл бұрын
That's true it's a part of the problem too (even tho they're sponsoring athletes since the begining but now the deals are insane) Basically every 2 years we shell out an extra $5 for our AF1, all to help LeBron James purchase his new mansion 🤷♂️

When adjusted for inflation the prices of Jordan have stayed pretty stagnant. Nike may have bigger margins, but the end consumer still has roughly the same buying power as they did in 1985. A 65 dollar shoe from 1985 cost 200 now, that is right in line with inflation. This holds true for the majority of their retro models. The comments about quality are more subjective and case by case than you make it out to be. Some of Nikes retros are higher quality than when they originally released. Its more about being an informed consumer and knowing where the quality lies.

just buy reps and stop buying from nike they will switch up real quick lmaooo

The problem with buying reps is you still make Nike popular even if you didn't profit them directly.

Keep buying reps if the real pair cost upward of $1000 though.

@@irvanray1898 yea like if there is a pair of panda dunks I can get for $120 retail that’s fine but I’m not paying more than $210 for a sneaker that’s just me and I believe $210 is jordan 6 retail

Nikes quality control is garbage. I’ve bought $40 pairs of Under Armour shoes that have better quality, fit and finish compared to some 200+ Jordans I’ve bought. We’re talking about paint missing, cuts that are different from one shoe to another, glue stains, you name it.

Il problema non è neanche l'inflazione. Poiché essendo big brands i costi vengono impattati dalle quantità prodotte ogni anno. Come?

Ahaha thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it 🤝 I talked to many guys who own resell shops and it's true that today 14 year old kids are ready to pay $350 for their panda dunks even when they're not necessarily rich, so if even the next generations are already brainwashed we're not ready to see some changes 🤷♂️
