Former C9 fan here, primarily of their LoL team. Seeing this org fumble the ball across multiple games over and over through mismanagement, blatant unprofessionalism, and suffocating their players' talent is just really sad to watch. You know it's bad when your head coach goes from winning LCS to leaving esports entirely one after the other. There's a reason Systems9 was a running meme for a while.

@@Waytogoneeerr oxy has been great in both RBHG's he played in, great in spotlight, great in vct, one of his biggest detractors is the fact that his team is constantly rotating in and out and there's no structure for him to grow from. he's a young dude, 7 years younger than yay, 3 years younger than demon1. There is *no* reason to expect him to be disciplined or professional. He was barely old enough to play vct when he was picked up, and he's only been on structured teams for a year and a half, he's only ever gonna get better.Yay had the advantage of being on a structured team environment for over 5 years before he started taking over, and demon1's flaws have been exposed time and time again when he doesn't have an elite IGL and coach backing up his insane raw aiming ability. OXY is completely on par for becoming an all-star level duelist. That said, idk if c9 are gonna make it out of regional play or not. I highly doubt it, because again, c9 have been making baffling decisions across all of their esports for a while now. They're bad in val, they're bad in cs, they're bad in cod, they're bad in halo, they're bad in apex, they're even falling off in league, one of their best esports. The org is on a big fall from grace these past years, I wouldn't pin it on a young kid for being in the middle of a bunch of bad decisions lol.

@@Lotalaea oxy has been great if off season events sure but so was Rossy so let's ignore those. In the season he has had great stats I agree but at the same time his team seems to perform badly despite that. The reason is simple, yes he puts up numbers but then he just throws away equally as many rounds as wins them. You say it's hard to have discipline bro Vero and Mada were better and more disciplined than he is even back in Tier 2. I was all for Oxy last year and the year before but now he has just been stagnant for 2 years barely improving at all.

Players are made to switch roles all of the time, Im pretty sure Tex was going to play duelist on Leviatan but moved to Sentinel when they got the opportunity to sign aspas, in 2023 SEN Signed pANcada and put him on sentinel because Dephh wanted to swap to playing Controller. IK its different games but orgs sign players and force them to change roles all the time in Val and CS.
