For those having the soccer vs football war the OG football ⚽️ was a sport invented in Ancient China as an activity to keep their soldiers fit, the Brits began playing it in England the there were variations to it In some parts you were allowed to touch the ball and it was called rugby football and this ⚽️ was called ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL which later became ASSOC and then SOCCER. When it’s popularity spread across the Atlantic the combination of both of them was invented and it was called Football 🏈 by Americans and Therefore association football ⚽️ was shortened to assoc football or soccer
