India now is more pro US than it's ever been in the past. It's upto the west now to finally win India over to their side. For that r\they will have to make India as the REPLACEMENT for China. That means whatever investment is leaving China, west should make sure it goes to INDIA, so that people recognise the West's gesture, and India will become pro west. However what they have been doing currently: hoarding Separatist- terrorists, Diverting their Chinese divestments to Vietnam, Phillipines, Mexico and the US itself. So they should not be expecting India to be pro west either...

India has blocked China’s investment and made it more difficult for Chinese companies working in India. But India is not in US block. During COVID India and South Africa went to US block and asked for temporary moratorium on Covid vaccine intellectual property payment to protect world poor, Germany vetoed the proposal. Covid caused havoc, few moths later Europeans came asking India mentioning it is a democracy all the while decrying it , give us support against Russia. It kind of looked very selfish

picking sides is what will cause world war iii. world war i and ii were actually european wars, but since europe had colonized the whole world, everyone became involved. the world split in two because europe was split in two. but it is not necessary for that to happen again. if countries follow their own interests, largely then we can end the wars of this century with mostly regional wars (russia/ukraine and israel/gaza) and skirmishes (india/china). but if the us forces everyone into two sides we may just get world war iii

India has always been non-aligned and was never and still todays, not part of any alliance. During cold wars in the past and and ongoing wars, India faced immense pressure from different countries to pick the side, but India did not buckle and played important role in preventing the world economy going into the recession which could have impacted lot of small and medium countries whose economies were already struggling. India never waged any war on other countries. Companies can invest looking at the historical record.

the difficulty in being non aligned or not choosing sides, is when they are sanctioned by bigger countries for dealing with certain parties deemed unfriendly to the bigger countries... thats when maidans, regime change, flower/colour revolutions happen...

Something in this video need to be corrected. China is officially neutral in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Some argue it's a pro-Russian leaning neutrality, then so is India. If Bloomberg puts China's in the Pro-Russia blog, India should be in it. Furthermore, numerous surveys in India have already shown that majority of Indians are pro-Russian or Russian-leaning. Dear Bloomberg, please correct your info and stay neutral.

Western Cavemen always complain about Indian people being pro-Russian while never questioning why the US donates billions to strengthen Pakistan's military, which ultimately ends up in the hands of state-sponsored terrorists against India. USSR earned the trust of the Indian people in 1971 when the US and Britain deployed their nukes in the Indian Ocean.

Every analysis from Bloomberg is obviously extremely biased, but it's true there is a group of countries which don't want to get involved in someone else's wars. But the reasons might be quite different from one country to another, always depending on internal and external factors. And these factors may vary from uncertainties related to economy and geopolitics to social, demographic, cultural and historical issues, not disregarding the military condition of each country... It's quite a complex analysis to consider only the external potential investment to choose a neutral position or any kind of alignment.
