a really goddamn easy way to save the game is really what you said gamemodes would make the game have more deph and even more players than normally a gamemode that i had like... 6 seconds of thinking to come up with was "shibuya incident" an 8 to 10 players gamemode where they are divided in 2 teams 1 team is the jujutsu society and the other is gonna be the disaster team within those 2 teams there will be main factors for win and loss, the disaster team need to stop the jujutsu team to get all the way to the bottom to save gojo within 5 minutes, or else its game. other than that it could have a random selected person on the jujutsu team to be a sukuna vessel, if the disaster team defeats the vessel they can force-feed it the fingers to get a temporary ally to them as sukuna and actually do the domain right in shibuya, a stronger version of the main game sukuna with that one old domain animation thats more accurate to what happend in shibuya

tbh, the main reson im not getting that much into it is cuz most characters are very boring to use. For example, the character i hate the most (yuta) has an literal autocombo, i can get a toddler to combo with it, and after the autocombo, you can run forever and just use the healing skill and BAM, you can run from toji forever and just wait for your autocombo to cooldown. That's the reason one of my favourite characters is itadori, cuz he is actually not braindead to use. Almost every character feels the same, just m1 3 times and use an skill then m1 again and do it foreverthey should add something to the caracters like black flash, where you can actually fail it. Like, imagine if a character has a skill that you can chain more damage into it IF you press the right button on the screen when you hit the enemy. All characters feel the dame yk? And they should add passive skills too

They changed front dashes, while I've seen positive comments, essentially they've lost players over it and its a literal fact, compare player base to before and after said update. The original front dashes set them aside from literally every other battlegrounds game, and also allowed for a way to extend combos, people got mad over this because A: they couldn't do it and it was skill issue, B: they played publics and didnt wanna get sweat on by randoms, which is fair enough ig, but it is a FIGHTING game, and then C: they could do this but just didn't like it, if that's the case they could of played another Battlegrounds game. Another reason Sorcerer Battlegrounds isn't fun like it used to be, is because Alrage himself doesn't care about his player base, you can see this by going through certain messages, the community is also extremely toxic, but most are tbf, and then finally, the updates are extremely slow and Alrage breaks promises he makes, for example on the release of Megumis 2 moves, Alrage said something along the lines of "In the next few days his third move will be released" It's been like 2 weeks or something, also if you want to know what the next updates are going to be, then you have to literally find messages Alrage sends in chat, as the devs barley post sneaks or are active in announcements or anything. I'm not looking for hate or beef about the dashes thing, but i fail to see how the update benefitted the community or the game, all of a sudden all the bad players who couldn't be bothered learning the game, now just hold block and it catches the good players off guard, since the dashes are changed

I've been in the discord server and honestly no hate for Alrage, but as a student going into game development, I've been looking at how things were run from a slightly more educated background. And honestly, a lot of these issues can be solved by just properly communicating with the player base and prioritizing features. Like for the front dashes, all he did was an unpinged poll in announcements saying he'll change the front dash to be like TSB but never really elaborating in what ways. So a majority of people just gave it a thumbs up assuming it'll be something they'll like. And looking towards today it's clear a very vocal crowd of people didn't approve of it since they had no idea what was going to get changed. I could have more to add but I don't want to rant too much if nobody is interested. I actually made a post in the discord channel criticizing Alrage's production methods and suggested some stuff on how he can improve. I'd even offer to help create surveys to collect data so he can prioritize certain features for free since I liked the game so much. My post got deleted. Which, granted, wasn't really my place to take over how he developed his game. But think it was a bit much to go out of his way to delete my post claiming that I wanted him to revert the dash, which really wasn't the point. And not even getting into the fact that 8 other posts talking about reverting the dash weren't deleted and some are still up to this day.

@@kaiproductions7639 Teaming is just unfortunately going to be apart of the game due to it being a free-roaming free for all. And there is some merit to it being a skill issue as plenty of players can fight off multiple opponents at once. But there's also merit to having an anti-ganking mechanic to alleviate it. Alrage had the right idea that players won't slow down when getting hit by multiple opponents, but he can try and de-incentivize teaming further. For Honor is an example as it has the revenge mechanic. Where getting hit by multiple opponents will build a meter, and upon activation will knock back everyone around them, gain a shield, hyperarmor, and heavy attacks knock people down. or Jujutsu Shenanigans recently implemented a burst mechanic where players can get out of attacks if they're being stunned by multiple opponents. Mechanics like these should only even the playing field though, and shouldn't give an overwhelming advantage to the player getting teamed on. If he added something similar to the for honor revenge system, then it can disincentivize teaming from others. You can still team of course if you want to, but it's going to be more difficult.

for me, I know it may not be the most popular opinion but what made me and alot of my friends stop playing the game is how all of the mechanics changed.I used to play alot when the game was around 200 players and it was refreashing to play a battleground had that had not the same movement/fighting mechanics as all of the others. At this point I better just go play TSB, sorcerer has become the exact same

Another thought that came to mind is to have a mastery for megumi, like in z battlegrounds or heros battlegrounds having a megumi mastery would be cool, the mastery could maybe work like having to tame different shikigami for megumis ult or having the ability to swap to sukunas vessel in megumis body. But I think that having the ability to tame, switch, and pick which individual shikigamis you would like for megumis ult would be cool

the reasons are .yuta getting a buff he did not need that basically made him the only playable character if u don't get wiped .the dash might be bad but the most annoying part is cool down I would at least hope they would make it longer just as they did with the range .the game gets updated extremely slowly and usually the updates are disappointing at best.

one thing i think that its just stupid about sorcerer bg, is the awakenings, THE AWAKENINGS ARE BORING AS HELL, ESPECIALLY GOJO'S YOU LITERALLY JUST PRESS 1 AND 3 AND THATS IT, atleast we have domain clashes that are a good feature, but compare sorcerer bg's ultimates with Strongest Battlegrounds's (i don't know if it is a fair comparision, but my point is that the awakenings in TSB feel better) when you use awakening in TSB you feel SPECIAL, you have a lot of moves that have bigger proportions to the normal ones, you have cutscene moves, impact frames and stuff, GREAT SFX and of course great VFX, but when you awaken in sorcerer bg you just feel that you do more damage, and thats all, even the characters in base in sorcerer bg feel just so weak, the SFX are TERRIBLE and the moves are just weak, thats my beef with sorcerers battlegrounds... and the movement, the movement is terrible and battlegrounds games depends on movement.

Ngl a lot of battlegrounds games suffer from the lack of updates but whats sets apart sorcerer from the rest of them is that in the long run you can have more fun in them than you can sorcerer> In lots of other battleground games there so much goofy stuff you can do compared to sorcerers battlegrounds, where its literally just "fight on!". My only reason to play sorcerer's is because i want like 1 emote, thats it, not because the game is fun, but because i want one emote to dance on people. And even then, I still barely play the game, I only have 2 emotes thus far.

the only few reasons that i dont play the game and dropped after trying to get into after 3 times is 1. the dashing it feels so weird and the hitbox on it is so stupid 2. the chracters everytime i try to fight someone (specifically Yuta) i get hit once by a Yuta user and i have like 85% of my hp depleted in a combo i just cant seem to escape.

My main gripe is the fact that there is absolutely no sort of combat that isn’t the core attacks (dashes, m1s, base and awk moveset) and it all feels very bland. Take The strongest battlegrounds. The ability to throw trashcans made the game feel a lot more alive and more interactable. Along with the new addition of wall interactions/wall combos makes it even more good. I’d also like to add that TSB has unique passives for each character and unique m1s as well. And every character seems very distinct from one another. And it may just be me, but their adding more cutscenes to the game, which make it very satisfying to hit certain moves. Another thing I’d like to add is the map in this game is too big. Very reminiscent of tsbs map but atleast in TSB there is a lot more open room to fight and you can see the whole map. In this game i feel compacted and have less room to fight.

Another thought that I just had would be reworking yuta and adding his new abilitys shown in the manga, or something else like being able to refine and better your domain expansion and having a targeted sure hit to specific people, or a gamemode of being able to tame all of megumis shikigami. Something else that could revive the game could be multiple charcacter ult reworks or stated in the video a boss battle where you could get a secret character like choso or mechamaru

They should make an anti jumping setting where if one person hits you, everyone in the server cannot land an attack on you unless they’re fighting someone else already and accidentally land one on you. The setting disables once they’re either dead or after 20-40 seconds max.

This is the problem with all bg games, lack of anything besides pvp, heroes and cursed arena are excused but even then fighting bosses is only fun for so long before u decide to play something actually fun. I also know stg has the whole hunt event and it shows good potential for more fun stuff, but we will have to see.

At least what happens for me is that most abilities in this game are really one dimensional and how opening people up in this game is. For the abilities, most of the abilities are really plain in the sense that a lot of them pretty much are just combo extenders and that's it, i can't use it in a different way to try to open up the opponent other than "ill just throw this out while we are trading punches while blocking maybe it works" or use it in a combo. Some moves i find really good for having different uses are moves like blue, which i usually save up against Itadori to use ragdoll cancel then blue once they throw out divergent smash, and its also a good tool overall to just get people offguard, or pretty much the same thing with boogie woogie (with less reward), most of the moves in this game just won't work outside combo'ing and im not saying that having moves that are only combo extenders are bad, its that most of them are bad outside of combos. Then there's opening people up which since pretty much all characters only have one block breaking move/grab (that is actually usable in blockstrings or neutral of course) the only way to actually open up people is by hitting them from behind, which was pretty little variety at least for me. Also since for most characters, the first and second m1's are decently safe on block since you can use them both then block, you end up in a usually long block trading match which only ends once either one of the players retreat, use a block breaking ability, a counter move or just dash behind (the block trading happens mostly at low-mid levels tho). Counter/parry moves in this game are just horrendous since other than using it as a "get off me" card it doesn't really do much, Itadori's parry move does a bit of area damage and gives him a blockstring which is kinda decent but not really that useful in a lot of the cases unless you use black flash in the air right after, and Toji's parry is horrible, it does very little damage and it doesn't even work with playful cloud even when using it right when you can act after the parry (while being at the wall/corner). And about the new dash, its good but again, there's not really much you can do with it, you can't start a combo off it, you can't use it for character specific extensions, it kind of has the same problem as most abilities, its better than before tho. If at least the ability problem is fixed, i think the game will have more variety in what you can do overall, also if i was the main developer i would try to design the characters around one or two fighting game archetypes, when i look at the characters in this game i can't really think of what archetype they are supposed to be (other than Itadori which is mostly a rushdown character thanks to the pressure his Black Flashes can give), but the fg archetypes in battlegrounds games are a little more difficult to define since you are always with 4 moves with around 10-15 cooldowns rather than a 2d fg zoner for example that has tools without actual cooldowns to keep you away. Adding more characters may temporarily fix the issue of the game being dry in content, but it won't really matter if half the characters play the exact same. So uh, yeah good video.

Honestly, I think one thing you overlooked in here is the fact that Mahito has gotten 0 new moves, yet in the span of less than a single month megumi has gotten his entire movement released, this coupled with the fact that the disliked dash rework wasn't reverted yet, just goes to show they're doing whatever they want to do, instead of doing things the community wants them to do.

all skills need aerial versions of it add innate movement system (sliding, double jump for some characters, autotrack rush) actual techniques players can have, instead of having it restricted to certain characters (simple domain, rct, black flash) and many more but those seem special to me in a game, specially bg game where you get tired of it real quick, unless it has cool effects.

Tbh, I quit the game because theres just so many third parties and people who team and free combos in the game just not giving it skill like u cannot even have fun without being hit by a domain or hollow purple

I’ll be comparing this game a lot to TSB since they’re moving in that direction although it’s still a bit unclear. Most important problem / fix needed for this game in my opinion - Every single character in TSB has their own specific tech, maybe even multiple techs. Saitama has numerous shove techs, uppercut techs and so many combos that every fricking TSB KZbinr has their own named combo. Garou is another great example, Metal Bat, Genos etc. Compare this to SBG and the character combos are nowhere near this level of depth. A good example is you probably do the same old combo in SBG and it’s quite boring right? Play TSB and you’ll probably be doing different combos and the fights feel more fresh. - This point adds a bit to the above but really gets the point across. There are are also UNIVERSAL techs in TSB that all characters can do. A safer M1 extender tech (Lordheaven tech) and the riskier tech (uppercut front dash). To summarise we need more depth to the combat like TSB has. Give us options. Last quick example, Yuta really only has one combo in SBG whereas TSB characters have loads of different combos.

The only reason it is getting a bit boring is because of the lack of new things, like take mahito moveset for example they have not worked on it since the inception of the new map, and the new character megumi has only been added in the past month. If they the same frequency of updates then their game would not have been so oversaturated with players playing the same Character. I am not saying that the development team is not working hard enough, they might have IRL situations, I am saying that, looking at the popularity of the game, they should get more staff to post faster updates, or smthn idk.

@@swordapples6652 even with new characters it’s only going to be fun for a few days then it’ll get boring again (megumi got boring quite fast). Adding more depth to fights would be like an update for every character. You’ll have new tricks to learn for each one

@@ABoredGod nah not really. E.g. on Garou you can use Flowing Water into Lethal Whirlwind (Kyoto combo) or Flowing Water into Hunter’s Grasp. There’s a tech where you mini uppercut, land on their head and use Hunter’s Grasp. There’s loads of techs you can go for too like Twisted tech, uppercut dash, lordheaven etc. Saitama has too many combos to list but some examples are m1, shove, m1, consecutive punches, m1, normal punch. You can do lordheaven tech in the previous combo to keep it safe as well. You can use uppercut and extend even further. Look at Yuji in SBG, what can he do? 3 m1, black flash, 3 m1 cranium, divergent. Quite a common combo. He only has little things like black flash on someone about to wakeup instead of divergent.

i almost got 7k kills rn and during halloween event i peaked 1.5k, just having so much fun on the game. First day on ranked i reached spot 11 on lb on duos cause it was extremely fun, but they ruined everything. First of all the sukuna rework, honestly the main point of the ult rework SHOULD have been balancing since it was way too op, not a heaven stands type quality ult because now its just gonna be way different than the other ult qualities, are they just gonna rework every ult atp? The second thing is them copying everything from the strongest battlegrounds, from on and on, they kept copying tsbg to the point it was just a jjk tsbg. The first change was the amount of m1s being changed from 4 to 3. This made alot less oppurtunities for 100 combos even though it was still possible. It just wasnt a good idea as now theyre taking away their originality. Next was the streak outline which wasnt really a big deal but the outline looked exactly the same THE EXACT SAME they couldve changed it up a bit. Then.. they changed the dash. Why? It looks like a walmart version of tsbg dash it looks so bad and sometimes cant even stun people. The old dash was really nice because if u missed it you could get punished which makes sense. And now theyre just copying every other game. They took clashing from jjk infinite, took fire arrow from heaven stand rework, and its just dissapointing. Now, if we look at megumi he has two combo extenders, every move being able to work in a down slam. A move that gives insane mobility like why? theyre just encouraging running. And he has a 100-0 with THREE MOVES, no character can acheive after the m1 dash tech being nerfed. After all the nerfs, he and gojo are really the only ones to have a 100-0 but megumi is so much better because u only need three moves and u dont need to use a 3 minute cooldown move. Honestly i think the devs just feel bad for the early acsess buyers so they gave the most op moveset in the game, i know its early acsess and it will get nerfs, but are they dumb? theres a combo extender he has that has insane range. This game is cooked tbh, rip. edit but i forgot to mention i have 10 kills this month 💀

My biggest issue with SB rn is, and I'am not joking, Yuta EXISTING. Bro they were literally smoking pot and hitting themselves with a hammer while edging to a Bluey episode when ""balancing"" this hell spawn, if you're not using Yuta and run into one in 1v1s, unless the skill difference is insane, there's nothing you can do it's just joever, same for 2v2s, me and bro were wiping the lobby, but we lost to the 4 double Yuta duos we facedn because we weren't fucking using Yuta 💀

i feel like you're expecting way too much out of a "battlegrounds" game. have you ever seen a battlegrounds game have something like gamemodes apart from ranked? the whole point of those games is simple: just fight. while i do agree there are like no characters to play, but the same can be said for any battlegrounds game ever made aswell. the point of this game is not to be something you play for hours a day, it's to just have fun fighting people, that's it.

The devs need to take note of the complaints theyve had about yuta doing too much damage. Yuta is so braindead easy you can use the most simplest combos and do 80% damage (probably an over exaggeration) They dont know how to balance their own game and thats what i fear the most for this game's future.

Ngl i don't like sorcerer battlgerounds due to it having do dynamic at all. In comparasion, strongest battlgerounds has flashy effects, MASSIVE crazy ultimates and music for them (sorcerer battlgerounds ults dont have music), there is no people in 1v1 or very low amount. Also a notice, the moves are not good. You can only make like 1 or 2 combos at a character due to them being very specific or ragdolling only. Lets just say, yuta. You just spam 1 2 3 4 and thats whole combo, no way you can make cool flashy dynamic combos. And overall game feels abandoned for some reason. In comparison even heroes battlegrounds is better, it added a bosses, obtainable characters and they do massive updates, so sorcerer battlgerounds just left behind on background

I mean its not only sorcerer battle grounds, fruit battle grounds has the SAME EXACT problem, they release the update you play for a week get the new fruit quit the game untill t he next one, like u said game modes can maybe fix that
