You described my facility. A few years back the Reggie Lewis center was throwing out several “instant runways”. I asked the director if we could take them. He said if we supplied the truck we could hv them. They now grace our upstairs deck track. Great for jumping days and we cut down on shin splints.

Coach my 8th grader did your atomic workouts for 6 weeks before his first ever track season. He started long jumping about 2 weeks before his first meet and broke the school record on his first jump in competition. 🤔

Hey Tony, loving the information here! Any advice on finding time to speed train an in season basketball athlete whose coach is loading up the miles on the team? Thanks so much! We appreciate you!

That's what I struggle with during soccer season. I just started working it into the 1st 10 minutes of practice.
Tony.....I've seen many of your videos, but I don't think I've ever heard you talk about resistance sprinting. Do you do much of this? Either with bands or by pulling a sled.
@coachtonyhollerАй бұрын
@@thehandsonlandlord626 Some band work. I’m not a big fan of slowing down the CNS and increasing ground contact times. Weight rooms do lots of pulls and pushes because they don’t have the space to do what they should do… SPRINT.

i find sprinting while twisting the spine making me faster, cuz i relax, so it's true! i have a question, when u sprint, u strike the ground right? But must u FEEL the impact, must u feel yourself actually hitting the ground? Or my GCT shld be low enough to not feel any impact?

Hey coach Holler, I know you use freelap for timing your sprints. I also know that in your 40yd dash times you tell us to setup our timing gates about a meter/yard in front of start of 40 yd dash to get an accurate time. Does this also work with the freelap system or would it be triggered to early because of the 80cm radius it uses?
Coach, do you have any clips with Weck? Could you review his rope flow? Many say a reverse infinity swing rope teaches runners good form. How do you see it? What about his hand weights?

Hi Coach - I am curious if Saquan Barkley took your advice? I bet he did. I remember you saying he called you and you said he might not like what you are going to say. He is having his most amazing year ever. My son has improved his speed a lot in 6 months with your program. Maybe you already did a video on it?

Watching Bob Hayes run in this doc about the first little guy to destroy the NFL with speed, I noticed his running style - the hip and shoulder motion is exactly as you described it in this video. The Hayes documentary: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIebh3hnrKt1qZIsi=QNvNceQWHG_5vbNI
