It’s dumb that the 32nd pick doesn’t get that 5th year option-why does the NFL punish the player for infractions by another team? But yeah, go ahead and move forward.

I find it hard to believe that JPJ would participate in training camp without a contract. Yes he participated in rookie camp, OTA camp and mini camp but those were all camps in shorts. Training camp is when the hitting starts and a bigger chance of getting injured. An injury without a contract leaves him out in the cold.

He CAN'T participate in training camp without a contract. Everybody should just calm down. He'll get it done next time he returns to Pittsburgh. I think he lives in California.

If there’s a question if whether or not JP Jr should be paid like a first rounder based on the odd circumstances of the 32nd pick this year, you’d think that’d be stipulated in the CBA somewhere. I feel like something like this shouldn’t be up to debate.

Although a 'Technicality', ...a valid point nonetheless. Undoubtedly, cementing a deal, whilst the Steelers enjoy Kenny playing under a rookie deal. Especially if the Steelers continue to re-load in the next 2 to 3 years.

CC I think we’re gonna have a number 1 defense and offended can be in top 5 special teams should be much better and all three phases will get back to feeding off eachother ! Najee May have 1400 rushing yards and J war 800 maybe 1000 Kenny passing for 4,000 yards 28 tds and 12 ints. Think offense can avg 28 a g game and defense only allowing -7 a game! This is very attainable! No drama or egos on team they don’t care who scores just score be better in red zone I think Canada is playing media saying schemes will be the same that’s what he wants teams to think I feel a lot of new schemes on both sides o all Pickens running lots of different routes hitting guys in stride in middle of field and Kenny getting Hugh over shoulder passes instead of in front of receivers to create much more yac I think teams gonna be much more aggressive with talent we have and utilize everyone! Don’t think it’s just me but Tomlin seems most excited I have ever seen him and he knows when people count us out we rise for the prize! We should see a lot of rotation and different schemes and not be predictable ! Guys have formed that brotherhood and new guys excited to be here ! They know if they play together as a team protect the ball they can win that Lombardi! This team is gonna execute and play physical smash mouth football they get what the standard is!
