Yeah and in episode 6 he says “Today is a very special day”, and in the trailer he says “I have something very special planned for you” to all of the children in the room. In episode 6, Dr. Brenner (aka Papa) conducts an experiment/investigation using Eleven because the last time that Eleven was in “the bath”, her orders were to see that Russian man talking and put it on the radio so that him and some other people could hear what they were saying but they picked up on what’s now known as the demogorgon growling and he has no idea what it is, eventually concluding that it’s a bizarre new species só he tells Eleven that they are going to make history by making contact with this creature. Eleven sees the demogorgon in her mind and walks over to it and touches it and it seems like the demogorgon felt her touch and all of a sudden in the real world, the wall starts cracking and it’s implied that the demogorgon was released into the real world because Eleven made contact with it. I think that the day that Eleven accidentally released it is possibly the reason why all those children’s toys were covered in blood, because the demogorgon killed most of the other kids and that might have been when Eleven managed to escape through the pipes, because security and everyone else that worked in that building was trying to survive/take care of the demogorgon, so they didn’t notice that she had escaped or if they did, they couldn’t catch her because they were too busy fighting off the demogorgon. TL;DR Episode 6 “Papa” says that today is a special day and that day Eleven made contact with the demogorgon, accidentally releasing it into the real world, which might have killed the other kids there and that could also be the day that Eleven escaped.

So what if that was one of Eleven's attempts to escape the lab? Or even her first attempt? Most of the children's powers are related to the mind. Telekinesis, Telepathy, etc. And the ruler of the upside-down is the MIND flayer. the MIND flayer also is targeting Eleven in most of season 3. I think the Mind Flayer gains it's powers from the children by flaying their mind. Sarah could be the number 7, and therefore the strongest, and died because the 'black hole', aka the Mind Flayer, 'got her.'

Might be crazy, but here is my theory: Already as mentioned in the vid, Hopper's backstory is going to play an enormous role in season 4. I think that this "backstory" has to do with Hopper's little girl (I forget her name). When eleven/jane's mom gave birth, the hospital lied and convinced the family that she had a miscarriage. In one of the scenes Hopper's kid had a panic attack I guess and I think she experienced something similar to what went down with will byers. She could have seen a upside down flashback and got scared or she could have seen something the government didn't wanted her to see. Maybe instead of being sick the sickness came from a side effect of her powers and dr. Brenner wanted to test on her. The hospital once again said she died by using a fake version of her body like they did with will byers. Brenner won in this situation and Hopper's kid became a test subject, maybe one of the kids in the rainbow room. Along with this theory I have small guesses like eleven could have met or played with Hopper's kid in the rainbow room. Edit: OMG thank you guys sooooo much for the likes!!!!

What if 7 has the ability of time travel. Used right, this power could allow them to move faster than the fastest speedsters, making it very easy to cause a lot of chaos. Also, did you notice that the door marked “7” was the only one without a lock on it? Maybe there’s a stronger long because they REALLY don’t want 7 getting out. Or, there’s not point to a lock because 7 can just get out of the room with their ability with no trouble. Ok, nerd out moment over. Btw this is my new favorite YT channel.

And lately Stranger Things has been asking for people to be mental asylum patients. So my guess is the main building of this season will be the asylum. Season 1: School. Season 2: Lab. okay, theory. so, in a season one episode, (i don't remember the name) dr brenner said exactly, ''eleven, are you listening?'' , and in the trailer, they used the same audio from when he was saying that. apart from that, in the same episode eleven went in the sensory deprivation tank. im not sure if it was the same episode, but when eleven was in the sensory deprivation tank, she made contact with the demogorgon. idk if this is how this upside down opens, but in the comic book, (the one with 6, (francine) francine punches a dresser or something, and you can see the demogorgons hand rip out. and one of these could be the ways the the upside down opened. so then, the demogorgon literally ''walks'' or escapes from the upside down, and kills the other subjects which we see in the teaser trailer, and in the other trailer the childrens toys are covered in blood. the demogorgon made the children into the mind flayer, sort of like billy. the demogorgon took the mind flayer into the upside down, but the gate was still open, so the mind flayer escapes into hawkins, and eleven closes the get leaving the mind flayer locked with them in hawkins. again, this is a bunch of theories combined with many of mines.

What if the puck landing one 7 and already being on 8 and 4 signifies patients who've escaped and maybe their order too, 7 being the last one of the three to escape, because we know 8/Kali has escaped... Also 11 is locked up in that room and Kali mentions that one day 11 wasn't in the rainbow room around the time she escaped

I was thinking about the captions of these teaser trailers, and I thought the numbers were weird. Why didn’t they just say 1/4 and 2/4 or 01/04 and 02/04??? Then I remembered what the tattoos on the arms of the children from the lab looked like. El’s was 011 and Kali’s was 008. And if you think back to the most recent teaser, the puck that was falling down the board landed where we could see that the number 4 was already marked. What if in the new season we get 4 or 004 as well as a few other children.

Those who haven’t seen should definitely try Dark, it starts off with a similar setting of stranger things, then turns into something completely different..the best use of time travel I’ve seen in anything..it might be a slow start though, give it until episode 5

I'm glad S4 has S1 and S2 vibes with more look into the lab, MKUltra and Eleven. S3 kinda ignored that with Russians, underground lair, flayed/zombie people and the mall which took away Hawkins being that creepy, little town where all the places familiar and close. Instead, they did a commercialized, flamboyant version of the town with places that are so far apart, which led to the characters getting split up for 80% of the season.
