Was thinking of medicine to end up working in a lab. Why not do this instead, I love anatomy and disease, it's perfect.

Does anyone know how this course compares to the biomedical science course at Cardiff Met?

Not sure about the actual course, but cardiff met is much more worth it because it is IBMS accredited. This means if you want to be a Biomedical scientist, you will HAVE to have an accredited degree. If you choose to do biomedical sciences at a non accredited degree, and want to become a BMS, you will have to spent more time doing top up modules (takes roughly 3 years) and spend a lot of money (around £10-15k) to get your degree accredited

@ ended up going with Cardiff uni since they have more choice with modules and stuff, so far I have no regrets

@ fair enough. Are you considering becoming a biomedical scientist as a career?

@ I’m still not 100% sure if I want to do postgraduate medicine, be a biomedical scientist, or get a job in some other field of biology, which is why I decided to keep my options more open
