Alan Ford was an amazing lecturer- his 'Introduction to Theological Ideas' was incredible. I remember the way he used to say 'Scholasticism!' with such excitement!

"I'm Irish and history is important to us. Catholics and Protestants get killed for their beliefs." What I find interesting is to discover what there is within the Irish psyche that uses Christian beliefs as a reason to express that kind of anger and hatred. There is no where within scripture or early church history to support that kind of mindset. Mankind has become more technologically aware, but our emotional drives still find expression in motivations that do not please God.

Hi, i know in the book of Daniel chapter 11 or 12 as a sign before the end of this world is the increase of knowledge.I know mankind advancements has occurred rapidly in only a few hundred years (2-3 centuries). I also have learned that mankind genetic code is very much mutated ( book:Genetic Entropy & the Mystery of the Genome), the author i learned wrote about how he studied to see how far back one would have to go, to have a perfect non muted genetic code, and it was concluded only 200 generations, whch is not very much... this same genetics went to the Holy Bible and concluded that the genealogy of the Holy Scripture correspond with his findings. I also did learn from a woman name Ellen G White that if humanity was made not as strong as they were in Eden, the human race would be extinct by now.
